Wetpixel member kriptap has just won Divester’s First Ever Photo Contest with a nice photo of a hawksbill turtle in blue water.  His turtle beat out 1200 other images in Divester’s Flickr pool, This Is Why We Dive.  See kriptap’s Flickr account for more of his beautiful underwater imagery.

  1. Although it was tough narrowing down the finalists, I think he deserved to win the contest with that awesome shot. As soon as I saw it in the pool, I knew it would be hard to beat. I should’ve known he was a Wetpixel member!

  2. As good as that winning shot is I think some of his blenny shots are even better.

  3. Simply put, I’m not the least bit surprised. His wetpixel entries were super and I found that I ended up voting for them week after week.
