Our good friends at Backscatter had on display at their booth a line of Top Dawg and Light & Motion housings, Macromate accessory diopters for SLRs, and the sexy new Hartenberger Nano modeling and dive light.  Berkley White, Jeff Wildermuth, and Sy Harris were behind the booth handling questions and orders.  Also, I think I may have seen a few women trying to sit in Sy’s lap.

The Hartenberger Nano features:

- choice of either a 10W or 20W bulb
- battery level display
- S.O.S. mode
- 4 levels of variable power
- flood or spot option
- integrated extra bulb holder
- removable battery
- easy charging by plugging right into the back

Also on display at the Backscatter booth was a demo reel of Ocean Footage‘s excellent underwater stock footage.

All of the large prints at Backscatter’s booth were printed by Pictopia, a lightjet printing company that prints underwater imagery from quite a few of the professional underwater photographers out there.  Backscatter, Wetpixel, and Pictopia will be collaborating soon to get Wetpixel’s Pictures of the Week printed and hung in a gallery space.
