The Dive and Travel Expo is holding its second annual photo and video contest on May 22-23, 2010 at the Tacoma Convention Center, Tacoma, Washington. It will give amateur photographers and videographers a chance to compete with their peers from across the Northwest and around the world to win great prizes and have their work published in the “Northwest Dive News Magazine”.  The contest is open to all amateurs who enjoy capturing underwater scenery. 

The Dive News Network is also pleased to present an opportunity for aspiring underwater photographers to participate in two, three-hour seminars presented by Cathy Church, world recognized marine biologist, teacher and author. In addition, there will be a Hollywood style opening night with food, film and fun, followed by a chance to rock the night away with diving’s very own Grammy nominated Blue Ringer Band on the Saturday evening. 

The exhibition itself will offer a deep ambitions career carnival, seminars, exhibits and dive pool.

Finally, divers will have the opportunity to dive at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA for an underwater treasure hunt on Sunday May 23 at 9am
