The deadline for the 42nd Annual International Underwater Photographic Competition is closing in fast!! The Rules and Entry Form may be downloaded in PDF format at http://www.laups.org/contest_04.htm
Hosted by the Los Angeles Underwater Photographic Society, this is one of the oldest and largest contests of its kind. Last year's competition received entries from 16 countries and 17 states. Film and Digital shooters will compete in the nine print and slide categories. Videographers will compete in two categories.
All entries must be received by September 24, 2004. The results of the judging will posted on the web by November 19, 2004. Awards include liveaboard and land-based dive trips, video and photo equipment, and a valuable array of SCUBA gear donated by our generous sponsors.
