National Geographic has published a 38-page article on the global fish crisis in the April 2007 issue of its magazine.  The article is written by Fen Montaigne, with topside photographs by Randy Olson and underwater photography by friend and Wetpixel member, Brian Skerry.

  2. What we need to do is sink a few of thoses trawlers, the benefit would be less rabid destruction of the oceans and aditional artificial reef to create sanctuary for fish, a win / win situation. Its time we stand up and ask or goverment to impose a ban to countries who support and/or endorse this kind of brutal behavior, and that is including our own countries. Its not their planet its also our’s !
