Sea & Sea has informed us that they will be premiering working prototypes of underwater housings for the Nikon D300, Canon EOS 40D, and Canon 1D/1Ds Mark III at this year’s DEMA dive convention. In addition, the company hopes to have a mock-up of a DX-D3 housing for the upcoming Nikon D3 dSLR.

Below is a sneak peek at the DX-D300, Sea & Sea’s housing for the Nikon D300…

  1. Any news on how or even IF the new Sea & Sea housing will allow us to switch between Live View (Lv) and other shooting modes? The lock button and dial combo are going to require some smart engineering solutions to make it happen....... I for one won’t upgrade without Lv.....

  2. I do hope they extend the depth range of the DX-D3 housing to at least 300 feet!
