A premiere party celebrating the release of “Sharkwater“ on DVD will be held from 7-11 PM on April 11, 2008 at the Pink Elephant in New York, NY. The party will feature special guests Rob Stewart, director of the film, and Captain Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and all proceeds will benefit Shark Savers, a non-profit group dedicated to increasing awareness of shark conservation.

A $20 minimum donation includes entry, one-hour open bar, and music and dancing to a live DJ, and you have the option to contribute more. Be sure to RSVP before spaces fill up!

  1. Funnily enough, we Aussies are patiently awaiting the 9th May for the Australian release of the movie? It will be quicker for me to order a copy of the DVD. I would, however, like to see the movie on the ‘big’ screen. I am led to believe that there are some spectacular images to see? It has been a long time coming to Oz. It seems, with the iminent release of the DVD, that the Aussie market is not such an important consideration?
