The new posts button is very easy to use - just click on it! And if you have a tab enabled browser just open the threads of interest under different tabs. It gets you up to date with all the chat on the forums in no time. You can even save the link as bookmark for a one click solution.

  1. hmmm..

I tried this new post button, reviewed one forum, logged off then logged back on.  Hit the new post button and none of the other un-read posts re-appeared… this is a great feature if it would keep track of what you have read or not read.

  2. the New Posts Button merely tells you posts since your last visit, and if you use it that way it works fine.
I didn’t realise anyone logged out of wetpixel !
Mix ‘new posts’ with Tabbed Browsing and your a winner.

I’m amazed Alex admitted to only just finding out about this on the front page!!

  3. You can also bookmark the link itself, but it’s a bit tricky. You have to right click (or… option click, if you’re on a mac?) and copy the link ("copy link location” in firefox).  Then, create a new bookmark and paste the url in.

If you try to bookmark the resulting page that loads when you do a new posts search, it won’t work.

  4. I just noticed that Alex included the URL to use in the post.  So.. disregard what I wrote and just use the one Alex posted. :)
