Scubashooters.net has announced its 2021 Deep Visions Underwater Photography Awards. Categories include Portfolio, Macro DSLR, Wide Angle DSLR, Macro Compact Camera, Wide Angle Compact Camera, Blackwater, Sharks and Cetaceans, and Conservation. Entries are open now and the deadline is 30 June 2021

The Scubashooters.net branded Deepvisions UWP award is up and running at the www.deepvisions.photo website . As you can imagine the 2021 edition is a special one as the globe is still struck by the pandemic still affecting the diving industry in several ways. This is why we called it the “renaissance” edition because despite the great economical crisis we were able to gather a great prize panel worth more than 60K USD.

The 2021 Deepvisions edition is characterized by a new international Jury whose members are top-notch awarded UW photographers well known inside the community and the scientific world. They are Mr. David Salvatori from Italy ( Head of Jury ), Mr. Marco Colombo from Italy, Mr. Jerome Kim from Korea, Mr. Eduardo Acevedo from Spain, Mr. Filippo Borghi from Italy, Mr. Jose Luis Sandoval from Mexico, and Mrs. Ellen Cuylaerts from Belgium.

Among many historical brands supporting us over the years, this edition saw new, important world players of the diving industry joining the sponsorship panel. We will not mention them here because otherwise, we would have to list them all, but they are all listed on our website.

And this year also cover pretty much all the fields of application of underwater photography. Entries are accepted till the end of June 2021 and candidates are invited to upload their work after reading the rules.
