Most of the Wetpixel community will be aware that Grand Bahama has sustained significant amounts of damage from the passage of hurricane Dorian. The storm was stationary over the island for over a day, and its winds and associated flooding have caused several deaths, along with the destruction of countless homes and businesses.
Epic Diving base their trips to Tiger Beach out of Grand Bahama’s West End and have first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing the West End settlement. They are acting as a conduit for financial donations, encouraging donations via PayPal, of which 100% will be passed directly into the local community. For those that are uncomfortable with this, please consider donating to the Bahamas Red Cross.
