  1. I guess what I'm really asking is if there is another wide lens that would fit the bayonet macro adaptor ( https://www.scubastore.com/scuba-diving/fantasea-line-bayonet-male-for-67mm-macro-lens/136978430/p?utm_source=google_products&utm_medium=merchant&id_producte=7690110&country=il&gclid=CjwKCAiAqIKNBhAIEiwAu_ZLDscslc7z-kFN3oVK2bfzwBGz1ZZha4xaB17ay95xiHP6kAeX0eUJMhoC1sEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds ) or one of the other adaptors, while costing less than 400$
  2. Hey all I want to buy my rig a wide lens, the only problem is I have the fantasea bayonet system (not gonna replace it). How can I know which lens fits this system? I was considering the Fantasea uwl-400q but I'm looking for a more budget friendly one. I have Fantasea FA6500 + sony a6300. Thank you all
  3. I'll try it, thank you! The problem with the kit lens is that I kinda have to use it. I want to be versatile during the dive (macro and from time to time regular or wide angel) and with that port it's either the kit lens or one of sony's macro lenses (30mm, 50mm or 90mm)
  4. Hey guys! So about 2 or 3 months ago I fell in love with macro photography. My gear is: sony a6300 + 15-60mm lens (kit lens), Fantasea FA6500 housing, AOI ucl-09f (+12.5 supermacro) and inon d2000s (that works once in a while). I noticed 2 mainly things: 1. Focus- I don't always get the focus on the area I want. I've tried center focus until now, on my last dive I tried wide focus and it worked a bit better. Since I mostly like to take pictures of nudi, I get only part of the nudi in focus (both with a wide and a narrow aperture). Is there something I'm missing in settings? Usually I take pictures with SS 1/250, ISO 100 and aperture of 4.5-6.3 if the strobe is not working or 8+ if it's working. 2. Sharp images- I noticed it on my dry photos as well as on the wet photos. Some pictures are sharp and some aren't, on the same settings as mentioned before (for UW photography). Is it becuse of the lens? Something in my settings other than my SS ISO & apt?
  5. Condition: Used - Like New (Looks new, a few tiny cosmetics which doesn't show in pictures) Price: 280$, shipment included in the price. I got it with my previous camera and it won't fit my current housing. I haven't used it since I don't really like wide-angle photography. Info from: bluewaterphotostore
  6. I recommend you to check out Brent Durand youtube channel, it helped me a lot with strobes positioning and camera settings
  7. I was just about to ask the same question. My INON D-2000s died last week (I put it for inspection but I'm pretty sure it's not repairable) and I encountered this strobe. it has focus light, manual mode and 0.85 recharge time according to the company stats which is very tempting. I guess it's rivals are the INON s2000 and the Sea&Sea ys-01 solis?
  8. Hey all I have a sony a6300 and Fantasea housing and up until now I used only the 16-50 lens for UWP. I bought myself the Fantasea ucl-09f +12.5 wet lens and I found myself loving more and more the macro photography, but, I still love to take pictures of other things (my buddy, maybe a stingray or guitarfish etc.) Which leads me to my 2 questions: 1. Will this lens (sony 30mm macro) fit to be kind of all-around lens for UWP or it won't be good for things other than macro? 2. If I'll put the macro wet lens on this lens, it'll give me a higher magnification or will it ruin the picture? Thanks!
  9. Hey all I recently purchesed AOI Flip Adapter for my Fantasea FA6500 housing. It's suppose to fit the port but for some reason it's not (FML Flat Port 34). Does anyone with the same port and adapter had the same problem? Is it just me not knowing how to put it on the port? Thanks to the helpers
