  6. There is a super nice non profit of shore of Belize (in reality closer to Honduras) that fight the Lionfish invasion. ReefCi base their operation from an island, where you sleep and leave for 5 days, that's pretty rustic, and my kids (10 and 13) survived there without internet for 3 all weeks. 15 dives a weeks, when your only objective (if you are not learning how to dive) is to hunt and spear lionfish. A tonne of presentation about ocean conservation and creatures in the area. Worse it. This is not an hidden commercial for them, I have been there 6 week total in my life, and my a larges number of my collegues have been there as well, only trying to help, get those M******* of Lionfish, out of the ocean. Cheers
  7. Nice article, lucky enough to experiment this kind of dive in Hawaii. Loved it, but get see sick after 25 minutes, yep underwater, with no point of reference, and not stoping to go up and down (think was so happy to see so many creatures). The only one that it happen to?
  8. In all fairness they are upfront with this rules, and it's the same in lot of country in Asia, or like in the stupid French/Swiss border, that I cross at least twice a week every week day for 7 years. And no one time have a swiis boarder boy that try to make me pay import tax on my photo & diving gear (brand new on the back sit, stupid of me). Cost me hours to retrieve the proof of tax payment in France and to show that I was a transboarder worker. Know a lot that had to pay something, and claim back at the exit (good luck to get your refund in less than 2 months)... just my 2 cts. Have a great day.
  9. Hi friends, Ced here, made in France & based in California. A military camps for teen changed my life when they through me out of the Zodiac with a tank and a regulator, was 12 years old, from then I'm hunted by the blue. Have read a lot on this forum, but never feel that I can really help, so much specialist here, but may be time to share some of my few knowledge. Also heard about the classified section during my last trip in Red Sea, did not even notice it before, may have to use it as well soon. Cheers
