Though I am now retired from filming and diving my large library of raw video footage still sells now and then. It is usually always a behavioral shot that sells. Standing shots tend to be boring but a unique, or even typical, behavior is what the channels are looking for.

Been to the Cocos 13 times since 1992 leading many groups. This included going during the big 97/98 El Nino which really drove the large schools of hammers very deep. My guess is that you were in a similar situation with the warmer water. Very nice and appropriate music. From an editors perspective or for competitions, I would add a narration and delete several seconds off the video, especially those areas where the exposure from one but similar clip did not match the next. You have some excellent shots there. The turtles back looked just like that of many of the marble rays you see down there and filming eagle rays has always been a favorite thing to shoot. Good that you got that tiger shark. My guess is that you weren't able to get too close to it. Nice job.

How do you like the GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Any reason why you went to the silver edition rather than the Black. The black is supposed to produce a higher quality footage I think.

How many shots on the camera? What are you asking for it. -
Dumb question but what was the blues tune you used in your film?

I have often wondered why so many DSLR and standard camcorder users do not use a hot or cold shoe monitor when taking topside video or photos to supplement their underwater shots. When filming underwater most everyone I know uses an external monitor rather that the camera's small LCD screen so why, when those DSLR LCD screens do not really enable you to see as well as you could, do users not bring along a nice 5 or 7" HD monitor to shoot with.

A few weeks ago I spent a weekend uploading uncompressed video files to the company that frequently sells my clips. All files are .mov files. I was told that a great many of them came in without the .mov and simply typing that in after the clip still failed to open the files. Next time I will put the folders in a zip file and see if that works but does anyone who may use File Zilla to upload uncompressed files have any insight into the cause for the .mov extension to be removed? Thanks, Steve
