  1. Thanks Chris. Hmm. Guess I'll go for sloppy. I'm also considering painting the INON diffuser that comes with the lens mount black. I doubt that will be enough though. The internal flash light will probably still 'pass around it' and affect the lighting of my pictures.
  2. Thanks, James. I'm sure I'll end up playing with the settings anyway, but it's good to have a starting point.
  3. Hi all, I just bought a CANON S95 with canon housing and will be using my INON D2000 with this system on my next dive trip to Indonesia. Very much looking forward to this trip and to testing this new setup. For my previous setup I was using the INON D2000 with manual settings and my camera on Aperture values. Does anyone have any experience with the S95 for underwater photography? Any particulars I should pay attention to or recommendations for settings to achieve the best results? For example, I'm wondering about the HD movies. Would you set the whitebalance to Underwater if you use this function? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
  4. Hi all, First, thanks for the great info on this site. I've been snooping around now and then for a few years. Very helpful. I just bought a CANON S95 with canon housing and will be using my INON D2000 with this system on my next dive trip to Indonesia. Very much looking forward to testing my new setup. I have a question for INON strobe users. As you know, these strobes com with a infrared sticker/cover that needs to be applied to the internal flash of the camera, to make sure it doesn’t cause any backscatter. Now, on my previous camera (a Fuiji) I had attached this cover but found it annoying that I needed to remove/reapply it every time I wanted to use the camera above water. I was also afraid it would get ‘stuck’ in the interior of the camera when the flash went back in. The S95 seems to have a very compact flash setup. I’m wondering if the cover will even fit. Also, I’ll probably use the s95 more often for above water photography/video (HD movies), and I’m wondering how others have solved this. Any experience in underwater photography *without* this cover? (I’ll use a lens mount with INON diffuser cap to attach the optic cable) Does anyone have another solution? I was considering using black tape or black marker on the inside of my housing but that would not be a very elegant solution, would it... Any suggestions?
