Total original price for the package is over US$3,180 but I'm asking only US$1,300 OBO plus buyer covers the shipping from Hong Kong (estimated US$150 to be confirmed with buyer). I won't split the items and original boxes and receipts are available for most items. Shipping will be via HK EMS Express Post which can be insured, has tracking and very efficient. Payment can be via direct bank transfer or via PayPal. Prefer to deal in Asia/SE Asia but willing to consider other countries too for the right buyer. Many thanks in advance - for more information, please email me on eyecee@gmail.com or see the photos taken using this set up on www.aquavoyeur.com. Cheers! eyecee **************************************************** Package Items include: 1) Ikelite Nikon D200 D300 D300s Fuji S5 Pro housing - Original price US$1,350 Purchased in 2006 for US$1,500 and used only on 4-5 trips, this housing has never been flooded and 100% water tight and functional. Although designed for the Nikon D200/Fuji S5 Pro, this housing has had the camera mounting base plate specially modified to not only take the D200/S5 but also accepts the Nikon D300 and D300s with 95% functionality retained to allow for full still photo and zoom functionality (access to both front and back selector dials on the body) PLUS video/Liveview function. The water seal is unaltered and the housing works perfectly with the change between bodies by just changing button caps (between original Ikelite caps and custom made 'finger' caps) and using a different tripod mounting hole. 2) Ikelite#5510.45 Modular 8" Dome assembly - Original price US$400 Minor cosmetic scratches on the rim but optically clear underwater. 3) Ikelite#5510.11 Modular Port body - Original price US$125 4) Ikelite#5510.28 Modular Port body - Original price US$175 5) Ikelite#5505.58 Flat Port - Original price US$150 6) Ikelite#5505.5 Flat Port - Original price US$150 7) Fantasea SB-800 Housings with Nikonos sync port and diffuser dome - Original price US$239.95 each (2 pcs) I synced up one SB800 which was in Master mode which then optically triggered the 2nd SB800 in Slave mode. This allowed full iTTL functionality. 8) Ikelite#4116.31 Sync Cable - Ikelite to Nikonos Manual Sync Only - Original price US$100 each (2 cables) 9) Optical cable to slave 2nd Strobe 10) Miscellaneous Items: Tray and 1" ball-joint arms included (single joint - see photo) Spare port O-rings (Ikelite housing O-ring, Port O-ring, Flash Housing O-ring) Neoprene caps for ports Ikelite O-ring lubricant Spare pushrod caps, e-clips, springs, etc

Manta Feeding Frenzy @ Hanifaru - which lunar phase?
eyecee replied to eyecee's topic in Trip Reports and Travel
Thanks for your reply; I managed to book Island Safari 2 Royal in late Aug to match Alex Mustard's timing so hopefully we'll catch the feeding frenzy! Hope to see you there! -
Hi All, I'm trying to plan a trip out to Hanifaru Bay, Maldives in August 2010 and current have a choice of different weeks during the month. From my research on Wetpixel and other sites, the Manta Feeding Frenzy (main purpose of the trip) is dependent on several factors, including lunar phase and it's influence on tides. While I understand there is still an element of luck, I'm trying to maximize my chances so which lunar phase is best? It appears that the lunar phases at the Maldives during August are: Aug 07-13 - 3rd qtr moon for the week approaching new moon. Aug 14-20 - new moon week and Spring Equinox Aug 21-27 - 1st qtr moon Aug 28-Sept 3 - Full Moon Can anyone recommend which is the best time to go? Also, can anyone comment on the following liveaboards and their associated companies and crew? MV Theia MV Fathima MV Island Safari 2 (Royal) Many thanks in advance of any advice that you can provide from those with experience in the area. Cheers! eyecee

Hi Shaff, Somewhat off topic; can you PM me with details on some of the boats you're organising to go to Hanifaru in August as I'm interested in heading out there and would appreciate any advice! Cheers, e -
Hey Alex - Would it be possible to join the trip from Male instead of from London to London? If so, how much would this effect the package price? I'm based in Asia and would be easier and probably cheaper to meet in male rather than go to London. Thanks!

Convert Subsee magnifier glass into super macro lens
eyecee replied to edmond320's topic in Photography Gear and Technique
Hi edmond320, Can I ask which part number you used to hold the Subsee Magnifier? It looks like an off-the-shelf part that was modified to hold the Subsee and it'd be handy to know which one as I'm considering the Subsee as a macro diopter on an ikelite D300 housing. Also, how have you found the effect of the Subsee on your working distance between the lens and the subject?
