  1. Hello all, I am wondering if any of you have used any services to print and bind your photos into a book..... I'm thinking of having some of my images bound for client gifts.... Any thoughts? Quality vs. Price?? thanks Marco Farrell have2fish@yahoo.com
  2. I have some larger prints that I would like to mount on foam core mat board. Do you have any sugestions as to where to find a cheap source of black foam core mat board, both thin - 1/4 inch and thick 1 inch. Is it cheaper to buy big and also buy a cutter? or just buy sized? thanks a million marco have2fish@yahoo.com
  3. Hello all, Happy New Year, I hope all of you are safe after these recent events. I have a question, I have a Oly 5060 w/ PT-20 as well as CP 5000 and tetra housing. I would like to know any methods of getting water drops off the lens when I take an above water shot, or am shooting surf/wave shots. Is there something I can apply to lens so that the water sheens off? Also with my wetmate lens system, how does shooting above water effect the lens? is it necessary to have water in the space between lens, if so how can I capture it there? Below are a couple of gallerys of playing with my new cameras off Cabo as well as off Santa Cruz Island. http://ImageEvent.com/have2fish/freedivingcabo and http://ImageEvent.com/have2fish/underwater...santacruzisland thanks Marco Farrell Santa Barbara have2fish@yahoo.com
  4. I have the opportunity to buy a Nikon Coolpix 5000, Light and Motion Tetra 5000, 2 Sea &Sea YS-90 strobes with Ultralight arms, 2 wetlink sync cords, Tetra focus light, Tetra ultra wide (weitwinkel) and macro wetmate lens..... and a few more bells and whistles for $3500. The system was used about 8 times and looks perfect. How much is this system worth new.... used? Is this a good deal? I have limited UV experience, I have a oly 5060 & pt-20 and have had lots of fun with it in Tahiti this year, looking forward to using it more and more. Here are some photos from our trip: http://ImageEvent.com/have2fish/tahiti2004...suwphotostahiti Thanks Marco Farrell http://www.whiteseabass.com have2fish(at)yahoo.com
  5. Hello all, I got my housing for my new 5060 in the mail from seashooter(?) I cant wait to use it. I do have a few questions: Any tips for maintenence? leak prevention? Is it necessary to depth test it as recomended in booklet? I dont want to waste my first dive just bringing housing down... As for CC filters, should I get the green water or the blue water one as I will be shooting in Moorea (tahiti). Thanks Marco have2fish(at)yahoo.com
  6. Hello, Sorry for the cross post.... , this is probably a better forum for this topic. I currently have the Olympus 740 3mp camera and have gotten some pretty good results with it(out of water). I do have the Olympus e-20 but do not want a large learning curve (or $$bill)as this is a family vacation and not a photo trip. I am going to Tahiti in 1 month and am trying to find out about the quality of this camera in the Olympus housing...... any comments? I am also considering buying the C-50 5mp Olympus. Any huge difference with these two cameras? Pros Cons? Any tips? any good tips websites for a total newbie to uw photography, but pretty versed with above water digital photography. thanks waldo have2fish(at)yahoo.com
