  6. I've had two cabins recently cancelled on this Labuanbajo/Bima trip on Damai I for the above dates. We will be spending 4-5 days diving Cannibal Rock/Horseshoe Bay during a perfect time to dive there....cost is $450/pp/night but I'm offering it with a 10% discount so I can re-fill the spaces quickly....cost includes free NITROX, all meals and diving; use of full gear including 5mm wetsuits, masseuse and one of the best Indo itineraries out there! Additional cost would be the domestic flights and crew gratuities. Email me at trips@divetravelservices.com if you're interested.
  7. I still have two spaces left for the first 1/2 of the trip...20-27DEC if anyone is interested in flying in for one week only! A seaplane charter back to Male on the 27DEC will be mandatory for anyone who joins us in order to not penalize the rest of the group booked for the full 14 day charter!
  8. I really like the truck shot too! As an owner of a 64 Ford Galaxie XL & a 65 Pontiac GTO, here in Detroit we'd restore it and drive it in the Dream Cruise!
  9. I have the Manthiri in the Maldives chartered on a special 14-night North/South Atoll charter. I still have two spaces left for the full charter - 20DEC09-03JAN10 and one space left for a female share for the 1st week only 20-27DEC09. If anyone is interested in searching for whale sharks AND mantas, contact me!
  10. There are lots of trips out there that feature noted underwater photographers who will work 1:1 with you! Mike & Simon just announced they'll be on the Damai next year; Marty Snyderman is doing two back to back Komodo trips on the Damai later this year; Bonnie Pelnar does workshop trips regularly; Jack & Sue Drafahl are doing back-to-back Solomon Island liveaboards later this fall....all of them will be happy to work with you and help you improve your images PLUS you get a great liveaboard diving destination to boot! Not only will most of them work with you on your actual images but will go the next step & help you with editing tips as well. Go to the "Organized Trips" tab and see who's got stuff coming up....and have fun!
  11. You'll need SEVERAL books, I'm afraid! I used "Cephalopods - A world Guide" by Mark Norman, "Crustacea - Guide of the World" by Helmut Debelious, a brand-new book by Dave Behrens & company called "Nudibranchs of the Indo-Pacific" that was wonderful and another one that I can't recall the name of to id the almost 3,000 photos I took when we were at Lembeh Resort in May! I think between all four books that I managed to id 95+% of the creatures. Good luck!
  12. We've been to all the "best" mandarinfish spots and I second Mike's vote for Yap....more mandarin than anywhere else and you can SPREAD out over a much larger area so there's no conflict between still & video shooters
