Enjoy complete creative control – when you want absolute control over fine light adjustments, you can use a main strobe in DS-TTL mode and a secondary strobe in manual mode or you can set up an advanced lighting system using two strobes in DS-TTL mode. The DS-TTL adjustment function is also available using the light level control dial for fine control of the light amount when taking pictures in DS-TTL mode. You can also choose from 13 levels of manual controls when you do not want to leave the light adjustment up to the camera. The flat, round, 105° beam angle (with diffuser), achieved by the balanced positioning of the 3 flash tubes, and the power of a Guide Number 22 are examples of the excellent performance of the strobe that is sure to satisfy even the most demanding professionals. 7. I have an old Ikelite 75 Substrobe to giveaway. Condition unknown. Rebuild battery and could work like new. Great for parts. Pay for shipping and it's yours. I will be shipping via UPS Ground from North Carolina. Contact Mike@evolutionunderwater.com.
  8. Sony VX2000 Video Camera w/ Sea & Sea VX2000 Housing plus a Pair of BLX55W Lights Only $600 For Entire Package (or Best Offer) This camera may be obsolete technology but shoots incredible SD footage and works super in very low light conditions. I have filmed two documentary films with this set up. You can see the quality of the footage for yourself at my web site www.evolutionunderwater.com. The video camera is 100 percent working condition and suffers only minor cosmetic damage. The heads and drive were replaced two years ago and the camera has been used very little since then. The FPF960 battery holds a full charge and I have a spare NP-F330 as well. There is a cable for capturing the data and is included. The VX2000 sells on Ebay for $300-$1000. The housing is also 100 percent in working condition and has only minor cosmetic wear. The wide angle lens has no scratches or imperfections. The heads up LCD display works off of AA batteries and is in perfect working condition. The BLX55W Sea & Sea light system works good but the battery pack needs to be rebuilt. It holds only a 15 minute burn on it as of right now. I have spare battery packs that I will include. The rheostat control handle does not work so I shoot either on or off mode which works fine. I have the extra grip for shooting this way. I have many spare parts including a bulb. This is included in the package at no extra cost. Also included: 3 video camera chargers 2 video camera eye pieces spare housing grips remote control 1 Mini DV tape required cables New Oring Kit for Housing Contact mike@evolutionunderwater.com for more information. I will also include a free session online on how to set up and shoot with this unit. I will place my professional reputation on the sale of this package. Mike Gerken Evolution Underwater Imaging
  9. Only $25+shipping I have an old Ikelite Substrobe 75 for sale. Battery charger and sync cord included. Good for parts or possible rebuild as functioning strobe. Maybe someone has a use for this. I don't. I have no idea if this worked before I got my hands on it but it had been unused for some years. $25 plus shipping. Contact mike@evolutionunderwater.com
  10. I just started using the Nikkor 12-24 F4G with a Sea & Sea D300 house with fisheye dome with NO extension ring. The system chart for Sea & Sea does not require it for that lens with the fisheye dome. Meanwhile every other lens suggests using an extension ring with the fisheye dome. I shot some pics to find that the corners of my images are extremely blurred. I am about to get an extension ring. Does anyone have anything to add to this? Mike
  11. Mr. Sloss, Still got these 5050's I see. How are you? It has been a while. Mike
  12. This 3CCD vid camera shoots very respectable footage and is a great start up camera and I think better quality than many of the Consumer level HD cameras out there. Check it out. Mike
  13. I upgrade my photo and video gear almost every year. I sold me D200 Sea & Sea house for a good price less than a year after I bought it because it was still hot, while I upgraded to a D300. If you wait too long to upgrade, your gear will continue to depreciate. You also have to factor in what you will be using it for and obviously what is in your budget. If you can swing it sell it and buy new when your ready and buy the latest technology. If you wait around for a better economy you could be waiting a while. By time the economy turns your rig will be worth a lot less. Mike
