anyone make a diy strobe case?
Jcdignan replied to acco205's topic in Photography Gear and Technique
Hi, You can look this thread : http://forum-photosub.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1317 The guy who make this is a friend, and whith his help i'm going to make one ... The body is made with pressure resistant transparent PVC pipe. Actually the front dome is "CNC-Machined" in a 40mm plexiglass plate, but we are looking to use "standard" 3mm acrylic domes (like security camera). The choice of the dome in front of the housing, is made for the wide angle cover improvement. You can see the difference with the 10.5 mm Nikon and a flat port or dome port on the strobe here : http://forum-photosub.fr/forum/viewtopic.p...ighlight=#14339 Hope this help... bye -
Canon G10 housing modification

Hi Hanachan, thank you very much for your tutorial, it's very interresting... Can you tell us what is the reference of the "black glue" and the "white glue" ? Regards, Jean-Christophe -
Reefwalker, you know you are here in a DIY section. Many people here are bored to pay a lot of money every time it is a question of materiel of dive or underwater photography. As well made is your material, i think 70$ is too much for just a board, a transistor, a buzzer and a cell. Many thank for guys like Hanachan and others to show us how to save money !

Hi hanachan, congratulation for your work ! Have you a detailed pics of your WA lens assembly ? There is only a dome or dome+lens ? What kind of dome have you use ? have you a link of the Ebay store ? Best regards
