THE WHALES COME VERY CLOSE TO POINT WHERE YOU THINK THEY WILL BUMP INTO YOU, AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU CAN DO A SCUBA DIVE ON A REEF WHERE YOU HOVER AT 15 METRES AND LISTEN TO SEVERAL WHALES SINGING. AMAZING SOUND. THE LENS WAS A 8/15 FISHEYE AND 16/35 BOTH CANON

ive just got back from tonga where I took my 5d mk3 I took the canon 8-15 circular fisheye which gets you really close when the viz is bad and you can get the whole of the whale in the frame I also took the canon 16-35 not as good as the fisheye but allows you to zoom in when the viz is better or the whales are a bit nervous

i have just bought the new canon fisheye lens 8-15 and needed the zoom gear to fit,the answer is to use the subal zoom gear for the tokina 10-17 fisheye fits like a glove

I am looking for a housing for a friend of mine. They are looking for a housing for a Canon 40D that comes with a dome port that would accommodate a Tokina 10-17 lens if possible. They are first time UW photographers looking to get set up at a reasonable price.i have a subal housing for a canon 40d with standard v/f but no dome port
-
it may be the zoom gear if you over tighten the grub screws it stops the the tokina from focusing

ther is only one guy who has contributed more to u/p than anyone else and that is martin edge

has anyone had a problem with the gopro 7 over heating in the hero housing the camera shuts down and the controls will not work you have to take the camera out of the housing and take the battery out to reset not a good idea when you are underwater
