UK based, I'm selling up my camera gear. It's all a few years old but been looked after very well. I was an underwater portrait photographer and this kit has only been used sparingly at shoots in indoor pool environments then dried and stored away. -Subal ND80 housing with free camera! £300 -Inon Z240 Mk3 strobes (I have three for sale) , diffusers etc £250 each -Subal DP-FE3 Dome Port £500 -Subal EXR-50/3 extension ring (type 3 fitting) £80 -Ultralight 1" ball clamp (4 for sale) £15 -Ultralight 8" lattice arm £30 -Ultralight torch holder £15 -Ultralight ball with T-slot to connect to housing £15 -Coiled strobe cable, Nikonos 5 to Sea & Sea, approx 2' unstreteched, £30 -19m long (yes, 19 metres!) version of above, custom made, £50 -12m nikonos bulkhead to Nikon SB-900 strobe connector (I used the Nikon on poolside so it's a weird mix of connectors) £30 -Tokina 12-24 4 DX Lens (subal zoom gear included) £150 - 1640 Pelicase, 700x700x600, foam included but it has been cut to fit my gear (see pic) £150 So there you have it! I'm UK based but am happy to ship anywhere, just not the Pelicase!! just email me and I'll give you the price. Payment through PayPal before goods are sent. Its all in good condition, if not excellent. I'm happy to bundle things together if you're after more than one item. Really sad to see this lot go but I just don't use it any more I have tried to upload photos but there seems to be a limit on the size etc. Instead, contact me if you're interested and I'll email photos to you. Thanks for reading -
Hi, I take and sell underwater portraits and more and more people are buying the TIFF / JPG files so they can print at home / get it on canvas or whatever they choose to do with them. What I want to do is strip out the EXIF / RAW data that has camera make / model, aperture, ISO, even down to what I did to the file in photoshop. Basically I feel this kind of stuff is giving away trade secrets and I dont want all my settings and techniques laid out bare for anyone with an EXIF-reader to see. I also want to add the ownership / copyright info, although I know it can be removed easily enough. I've looked at Irfanview (it degrades the image too much, even when carrying out the 'lossless jpg' commands), and EXIFtool is just computer programming jargon to me. Does anyone know how to remove this info WITHOUT degrading the image? I'm at a loss, I 've heard older versions of photoshop save jpgs without this, but I use CS4 and dont want to revert. Any ideas??!!!!

I'm just here to muddy the waters! I'd agree with everyone in that the 10-17 f/e is indeed a lovely wide lens, I was advised to buy one and wasn't too unhappy with it. I then, however, tried a tokina 12-24 and immediately exchanged for that instead. I found the colours on the 12-24 to be richer and the image sharper - of course you lose the width of the fisheye but if its image quality over width, then maybe think about the 12-24? They are both about the same price I think. This opinion could well just be down to my own idiosyncracies, as I do exclusively pool work and don't need/want the extra fishy width, but as some other poster here said, you are your only yardstick. I prefer the 12-24 so its better for me! The best way is to try a couple of lenses out, I guess. If not, then go 'safe' and plump for the 10-17. Everyone (else) says its the dog's danglies...

I know of a guy who makes custom cables based in the UK - company is called KMR (I think), and the guy's name is keith, tel 01621 868805, www.aquaphot.com He made a 40' sync cable for me almost next day, is really helpful and knows his stuff. Maybe try giving him a call to see if he can make a cable up for you? Good luck -
Hi Ive just bought an Ike U/W light meter for taking accurate exposure readings for flash photography. The (short) manual says that I need to set the camera's flash sync speed in the meter, then measure the flash, and I will get the right f-stop. It says "shutter speed cannot be changed in this mode". So am I stuck with using the flash sync speed as my shutter speed? (1/200 in this case, a Nikon D80). Can I dial in 1/125 as my flash sync speed if that's the shutter speed I want to shoot with? Or, if I stick with dialling in 1/200 as the sync speed and then get f16 as the reading, can I go to f8 at 1/125? It may not be much if an issue, as I'm sure I can use 1/200 but I have used 1/125 in the past and I dont want to have to open my lens up too much in case it starts to get soft. As ever, any advice from those more knowledgeable very very welcome.
