I heard that the timing is extremely critical - what type of timing and moon phase is best for this to happen?

I don't know if you're still in the market to get a cam+housing. I've a Sony PDX-10 3CCD, DVCAM/DV camcorder with a very complete set of Amphibico products to go with it. They include: Amphibico Dive Buddy Plus housing, 3.5" external monitor, 3 lenses from super wide-angle (11O degrees), medium wide angle (74 degrees) and a macro flat port with +2 diopter. I also have a Brighstar light with Ultralight arms too. If you're interested, I'll consider selling this very good condition setup.
