My Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard is dead.I am looking for a recommendation to replace/upgrade my dead motherboard with a new one. I originally wanted to buy a used Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 ( socket: 1155) to replace the dead one. However, the used ones are very expensive, more expensive than the new motherboards. I better buy a new one. What motherboard would you recommend? I would like to move everything onto the new motherboard, i7 intel, memory, SSD, Gpu, etc. I would use the pc for photo/photoshop and video editing. What I have:- i7 intel- memory: 4Gx2|G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL- GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 7750 DirectX 11 HD7750-1GD5-V2 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video CardTHANKS SO MUCH!!!!

Hi Haring,
This may be useful:
This was done with the 7DMKII, but I've used it on 70D, 5DMKIV, and 1DXMKII as well. In my experience, the Dual Pixel AF has been exceptionally accurate and worked very well compared to other large sensor camera's I've tried w/ continuous AF while filming. Hope that helps
This is what I was looking for!!!! LOL! Thanks!
Thanks to everybody!!!

Does anybody know whether Canon's Dual Pixel Autofocus works underwater?
Thanks!

Not yet. It is now extremely cold - Alaska is one big popsicle. I have received a replacement part - the contact piece for the joystick - from Seacam. It fits around the 4 fingers that stick up in the new style joystick. I may have to remove the live view connection - this is something I do not use. I have shot video with the MkII but set up the camera to use the shutter release button so do not mess with the LV button. I may be able to get away with just removing the rubber contact piece for the card selection button (to the left of the tiny LCD at the bottom of the camera rear).
I see! Take your time!

My Nikon dslr camera rubber cover panel is pealing off.... It happened to me the same with my old Nikon. It seems to be a permanent problem with Nikon cameras. Do you have any glue recommendation? The glue needs to be flexible enough and keep the rubber panel on the metal housing of the camera....
Thanks so much! -
I have both cameras as well as a Seacam 1Dx housing. I removed the internal contact parts of the 3 controls on the back that have changed and was able to fit the 1Dx2 into the housing and also able to dry fire it (i.e. indoors). I do not recall absolutely if I plugged in the flash synch do-dad (the gizmo that slides into the hot-shoe) or not as it was several months ago. I am waiting to see what is different about the new Seacam housing - probably will be shown at DEMA as it may be out already.
Hey Tom!
Do you have any update on this? Have you tried to used the mark II in the old Mark I housing under water? Any issues?
Thanks so much!
The Aquatica Digital housing for the 1DC/1DX version 1 will fit the 1DXII with an update to the housing back for the stills/video button near the viewfinder, also the 1DXII housing dedicated to the 1DXII comes with the vacuum valve free ( $350 value) :-)) DeeDee
Hey DeeDee!
Have you tried it under water? Any issues?

I am just wondering whether I have missed something with my Canon 5d Mark iv.
Is there No Dual Pixel autofocus while recording 120fps/slow motion?
Thanks! -
Are there any news about how the new Sigma 12-24mm Art lens performs underwater?
It looks like a great winner above water....
Thanks!

I see! Did you actually try to fit the new mark II into the old one or you are just guessing....
Thanks so much for helping!

I have a Canon 1dx.
Canon 1dx and 1dx II look like 99% identical from outside.
My question is whether I can keep my old Canon 1dx housing and fit the new Canon 1dx Mark II in it....?
Has anybody tired this?
Thanks!

Are there any canvas printing lab in Miami/Ft Lauderdale area you know and you can recommend?
I know there are not too many left. I would like to get canvas printing done locally...
Thanks! -
It is great however it is going to cost a lot to create the rig. There are other cost considerations besides the lens.

I guess this is not a common problem.

I just noticed that my Ikelite cord has a small leak at one of the ends. The waterproof sealing at one end where the ikelite bulkhead connects to the cord is damaged.
My question: What kind of gel/sealant can I use to reseal the cable end? The bulkhead is sitting tight at the end of the cable. It looks like that I can fix the leak with resealing the tiny cable in the cord.
It looks like Ikelite used some type of silicone glue... Do yo have any idea what to use? I want to fix it and I want to fix it in the proper way.
Thanks so much!
