  1. WoW, these are some of the nicest nudi shots I've seen lately, thanks for sharing, and please post some more.

Thanks Luiz!! The place is so easy that a novice like me can get some (let say) nice stuff.

I'm now out from home again, i will post some more stuff when back next sunday.

    Thanks again

  2. I just arrive from a tryp to Komodo with five days at Tauch Terminal at Tulamben. It has been an amazing tryp in both places.

First some nudis from Seraya Secrets (Tulamben) an amazing place with surprises everywhere....loved to dive there....

  3. who are you diving with?

The hotel is a nice clean hotel but is sort of out of the way. They run a chain of 5 hotels. My preference is WP Malakal as it is very near Sams Tours and Neco Marine and right next door to the best restaurant/Bar in Palau, Kramers.

WP Desekal is in the centre of town and central to all of the other restaurants and shopping and close to Fish n Fins.

I would choose one of those two WP over By the Sea.

But any WP you choose will be clean, well serviced and professional

Thanks Mike we planing the tryp for this august (we hope to get nice weather) and we should dive with “Fish Ìn Finsâ€...Ah! and maybe we will spent 4 days at Yap at Manta Ray...should i meet you there?

  4. WOW Justin! what a nice lighting on those! Love all of them but the 3 firsts are wonderfull. Love the blue diagonal in the #2 and the circle composition in #3. Really, really impressive...it has to be a nice tryp....maybe someday :):)

  5. Cool! I missed this post somehow. I dove there a couple years ago before I had a camera, so its really awesome to see your great pictures. I was just thinking the other day about how I would like to go back and take some shots.

    Thanks!

Thanks Justin. Do it...it's a ethereal experience and a really nice place for a quite dive

  6. We just arrived from one week in Playa with some dives.

These pics are from Dos Ojos Cenote and it's impossible to describe the gandiosity of this place with a photo...at least for me.

    This is what i got.

  7. To my great annoyance, I've just been informed I've been bumped from my chosen holiday destination of Vakarufahli and have been given a choice of Meeru or Veligandu. You can take as read just how utterly p***** off I am about this and how this is not a great start to my luxury island paradise holiday!

I've been offered an alerternative of either Meeru or Veligandu. Does anyone have experience of either island or recommend one or the other? Or should we be asking for a full refund?

    Thanks

    James

I have been to Maldives several times. Try with Maayafushi Resort Island, you have Maaya Thila one of the best dive points in all Maldives as your house reef.

  8. Hi all,

Anyone ever been to Togian Islands and/or Banggai Archipelago in Central Sulawesi?

I'm doing a 13day liveaboard trip on the Paisabatu II in March 07 (pffff, still more than 140 days to go :P )

I've done an internet search but there's not much to read about it except the website from the liveaboard operator itself and a few travel reports (But they already date some years back)

    Thanks in advance,

    Bartus,

    Belgium

    Hi Bartus.

I was this last summer at Walea Dive resort at Togian Island. Marvelllous place. Splendid wall full of critters and outside the reef deep dives with strongest currents i ever done but plenty of pelagics.

Outside it's like a dream. Could come back again ;)

  9. Hey gang

this is going to be one of those annoying (not one of THOSE questions again), and it probably has been covered before (sorry  ).

I was wondering will two DS-51 strobes cut it for wide angle shots, or is it just point less to contemplate this.

I ask as I am looking to try and keep the weight of my gear to a minimum. I know DS-125 would be better, but price is a bit of an issue for me. They would be connected up to a canon20D.

Or should I suck it up and loose some cash and just get the 125's

Any advice will be gratefully accepted.

Sorry again about the crappy question.

    Cheers dave

Hey Dave. I've two DS50 my own and you can get false wide angle (CFWA) that looks like WA, but for real one you will need two big ones...i'm planing to get 2xDS200...well...if i change to DSLR...and get the money :glare: :glare: :glare: :glare:

  10. Great stuff Ripli!!

Really good job balancing highlights with your strobe - particularly on the CFWA.

Still on using the 5060? - great work.

I'm not bored yet - any more will be appreciated.

Thanks anthony. Yeah, still with the little 5060...for a shot while i hope....D200 it's in my wishing list.:lol::D:):)
