  1. Silicone stretch lids on Amazon https://a.co/d/htiYeVG
  2. Seeing on a 4K monitor I see a lot of noise at 18" on the blue background on the left side. But maybe it's a crop. Anyway.... Maybe it's me but I don't want to pass as a pixel peeper because I'm all the opposite I have seen other land videos and the quality is very high. Perhaps, "having the budget" (I repeat: having the budget) and doing only video, I would go for the C70 which has the DGO sensor and for the deep Mediterranean would be a killer feature. However, very personal consideration, when I watch these videos, as well as many others posted here or on Youtube, at first I am amazed but then a feeling of puzzlement always rises up. The environment and water conditions are totally different from the Mediterranean where I dive and make videos every week. In Tuscany and Campania, where I dive mostly, in summer we have viz exceeding 30m. But it's hard to make comparisons because I have seen footage in a few meters of water, made with even more expensive systems not achieve anything like that here in our waters. Last but not least, you also have to evaluate the skill of the operator and the person doing the post production (often but not always the same person). P.S. How did you trim your housing?
  3. I can confirm that Sigma 15mm with Metabones Smart Adpater IV on a A7RIV works as expected. it means that the latest firmware upgrade on A7RIV body and Sigma MC-11 broke compatibility with the Sigma 15mm lens (it was never declared compatible by Sigma, actually).
  4. My friends go often with Red Sea Explorer for tech diveaboard and bring with them rebreathers and other stuff... I know that the preferred airline is Turkish airlines because they have huge discount for extra weight.
  5. AFAIK only for Leica lens so far. https://petapixel.com/2021/12/21/techart-releases-first-ever-contax-g-to-nikon-z-autofocus-adapter/
  6. Nauticam port chart states its compatibility: Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 17414 NA-LX10 Housing - Zoom from 65mm - approx. 130° https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hhsQB4t2e1i-smf2mCNkj3DzIAoEgRIH/view
  7. Do you have some clip online? How is the trim of the housing?
  8. The last two reels. Colors are amazing but a lot of noise. Really too much IMHO. Yes several reviews states that RAW is noisy but I didn't think was so much. The video seems not shot in RAW actually
  9. Enrico Rabboni sent me some photos and explanation of his mod setup that couldd be useful to other isotta users. He subscribed to WP but he forgot to post them so I'll post for him. Basically FWIU he got a custom M67 flat port and a zoom gear for Pana 14-42mm form Elisa Isotta. Other bits are all standard nauticam parts. He can swap CMC-2 and WWL-1 underwater and he has full zoom. He managed to mount the baionet adapter without having the cutouts. Bye
  10. I saw this test/comparison of R5 vs R5C. Demo reels contains artifacts and are incredibly noisy. I would never buy a camera seeing those clips. https://www.backscatter.com/reviews/post/Canon-EOS-R5-vs-R5C-Underwater-Review @dreifish give me your opinion. I know for sure these camera are better than that
  11. Yes we are scanning the net Metabones Smart Adapter is expensive. it's a shame for the MC-11. We thought that having lens and adapter of the same company was the best choice...
  12. I'll let you know. Probably latest camera/ring fw update broken the lens compatibility. He will change the adapter first. Now our priority is having a working camera Then we will check for image quality. We have several extension rings and a underwave/igloo cristal dome so we could swap to Canon 8-15mm if quality is not adequate.
  13. I copy and paste my previous message in a proper thread that could be very useful for future users. I'm helping my buddy with a Sony A7RIV + Sigma 15mm-MC-11 combo. The camera become completely unstable. It switches itself between AFS and AFC. Occasionally it focuses or the screen goes black. The aperture does not work. We initially tried with original fw and then updated camera and ring to the latest fw version The sigma manual explains that if the ring led is off, the lens is not compatible and Sigma does not list the 15mm as a compatible lens but I trusted the many users here in the forum. Given the so many references here for this lens, any suggestion? At this point we will try the Metabones smart adapter V asap. Is there some reason not to chose the Meta Smart Adapter IV over the V? Thank you all
  14. I'm helping my buddy with a Sony A7RIV + Sigma 15mm-MC-11 combo. No luck, so far. The camera is like crazy. End of sad story
  15. Hahahaha I'm not usually fussy and I'm happy but those corners looked good to me, That's why I didn't understand Maybe I have a couple of clips that can show the very slight fisheye distortion introduced by the WWL-1 and the incredible quality of corners compared to a straight, dome lens. A few car wrecks. Panasonic 14-42 @14mm, F5.6, ISO 1000 I had to get so close (too close) because the ambient brightness @60 meters was so strong that my keldans couldn't light the wreck well. You can see the slight fisheye distortion in the center on the side of the car. But at the corners, objects coming out of the frame and the sand are almost perfect. I challenge getting these results with a dome at F5.6.
  16. All my latest video are shot with WWL-1B and I rarely use it wide open. It's slightly fisheye and it doesn't deform shapes too much. A quick example here where there are mostly divers which retains normal proportion
  17. I do not know him personally. I have seen his videos on FB through some mutual friends. You can try to contact him on FB and ask him for information. https://m.facebook.com/enrico.rabboni It is good to know that other manufacturers also make ports compatible with WWL-1. I hoped Aquatica would also make one but so far no news....
  18. It's strange that Isotta was not able to give you a WWL-1 port directly from the factory. As far I know there is at least another guy with a GH5 Isotta housing and a WWL-1 port produced directly from Isotta. He is Enrico Rabboni, who won several prizes at the last Madeira Underwater European Contest with this setup.
  19. Hi Phil, I'm asking because the Canon 15mm is not listed on the metabones specs. Another option would be the Sigma 15mm with its adapter...
  20. Hi all, I'm going crazy trying to figure out which adapter ring I should buy for this old lens. I read that the metabones Smart Adapter Mark V is good for lenses from 2009 onward. Any suggestions? Feedback on AF?
  21. The problem with Rock Boots is that they are very large so sometimes even a Scubapro jetfin doesn't fit in. A turtle fin could help.
  22. I think nobody maybe except Nauticam tried the 12-35 mm on a WACP. Too expensive for a test
