  2. The gears are: 6.363 (D82-78/L75) and 6.442 (D82-78/L55). The silicon rings: 6448 (used with the 6.363 for a Nikon 105mm lens, amongst others) 6472 (used with the 6.442 for a Nikon 60mm lens, amongst others) There is a third silicon, that I can't remember the code for so is free.

  12. Hi, Have any of you used Ponoko (or similar service) to have your DIY 'inventions' made? If so, how do you rate them? If not, where are people getting their 3D printing done? Cheers, Lawrence

  14. I'm streamlining my kit, as a photographic exercise for myself to use only prime lenses for a while. So, my zooms must go! For sale is a Nikon 35-70mm f2.8 AF-D lens. For those not familiar with this lens, this "...was Nikon's flagship professional midrange zoom of the 1990s, and has pretty much the same optical performance as the newest 24-70mm f/2.8 AFS, with a lot less size, weight and cost" (Ken Rockwell). Here the full review of this lens: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/3570.htm I love this lens, and fully intend to replace it in the fullness of time! This one is in very good condition, with just a few conmetic scuffs, comensurate with age. The lens if fitted with a Nikon NC filter so the glass is scratch free and has just a tiny amount of dust, not affecting picture quality. The lens caps are both present. My connection is a little flakey at the moment, but I'll upload some images asap. £180 +P&P
  15. Thanks for the tip John; Pascal confirmed that the material is indeed Delrin. Thanks everyone for the input.
  16. Thanks for your comments; those of Great White particularly useful! Open and honest, thanks. As mentioned, the port will be used with the Sigma 15mm fisheye, this mounted on a full-frame camera. So, from these comments I'm happy. But once I'm set up and get some shots, I'll report back.
  17. Thanks for your comments. I intend using it with a Sigma 15mm fisheye.
  18. Thanks Chris, It's the material of the body of the ports that I'm interested in. So Delrin, or similar. Can anyone confirm or deny this?!
  19. Yeah, I've seen that review and whilst the reviewer is straight up about his involvement with the development of the port, I would like to garner further opinion on the port. If it's good, then great, I can get one at a good price. Otherwise I'll stick to an acrylic dome.
  20. Hi, Does anybody know exactly what material the Hugyfot ports are made from? Thanks, Lawrence
  21. Hi, Does anyone have any experience with the Pro-One 180mm Optical Glass Dome Port? http://www.pro-one1.com/sub2_1_e.html It looks similar to other ports, but I can find very little about it online. Thanks Lawrence
