  1. This may not be useful but I have a new Ikelite 5503.90 port that I will sell to you for $130. If you are interested my email address is wwalker101@hotmail.com. I can send you pictures.
  2. I'm really excited about Google+. Please let me know as soon as it becomes available to the general public.
  3. I've had a couple of interactions with Mike from H20photo Pros and he was pretty honest and up front with me about everything. I found him to be a good guy. He is very knowledgeable and has been helpful to me.
  4. Point of View (POV) HD Imaging New to the Gates 'bulletproof' underwater imaging lineup, the HMR10 POV (Point of View) housing is perfect for those distinct applications where distance viewing and/or small camera size are important. Like getting up close and personal with a Great White. Inspecting the next Cenote passage? Or how about capturing Surf Crabs in 6in / 15cm of water? The HMR10 housing lets you shoot remarkable HD image quality, from a distance of up to 60ft / 20m. Reliability, durability, dependability - the Gates hallmark for over 40 years. Compatible cameras: Panasonic AG-HMR10 Recorder / HCK10 Camera This housing is new but I no longer have the original box it came in. Instead of 2 handles this item comes with a handle on the right side and a dovetail mount on the left. Please waitImage not available
  5. I'm new to underwater photography. I have a friend who gave me a deal on a New Gates HMR10 POV Housing. It was expensive and I'm wondering if it's too hardcore for my needs. I'm just starting to snorkel and get comfortable in the water, trying to build up confidence and working towards diving some time soon. Should I just hold on to the housing until I get good at diving or should I just try to sell the housing and buy another one when I'm a capable diver?
  6. I'm also new to underwater photography. I just picked up this book and it has been very interesting/helpful. Thank you for the tip!
  7. Do you know anything about the Duke Marine Lab in Bermuda? My girlfriend is interested in studying marine biology there and I was wondering if you know how reputable it is internationally or anyone that has studied there.
  8. Hi, I'm Wes Walker from New Orleans originally but I currently live in Newport Beach, CA. I'm new to underwater photography and diving. I thought since I live this close to the ocean I should start acting on my interests in diving and photography. If there are any beginner tips for diving and especially photography in Newport Beach I would greatly appreciate it.
  9. I'm new to underwater photography & wetpixel but one of my passions has always been the ocean & fish. I'm glad to see that people in this community are politically active in trying to save our planet.
