  1. I was thinking the same thing- should have put in a few extra screws. Fortunately for me, once assembled, it won't come off. I have the 12-35 f2.8 for on land.
  2. Thanks for letting me know about the pressure and speed- really didn't want to go through disassembly and reassembly. I am out of town through the weekend, so I can't try it above ground. I did shoot off a few picts after I assembled it, and didn't notice any problems, but really was not looking at the quality, more for the function. I'm back for two days next week, then off to Florida and the Bahamas- I will throughly check it out at that point. I sure hope it works on land. Maybe a focus issue?
  3. All is working fairly well tonight after playing and experimenting. Not as fast or reliable as electronic TTL, but very workable. Still do not understand why the flashes just stopped working in any mode. At this point, I am tallying it up to User error. One question: it appears the strobe level cannot be well controlled from the flash level control on the Super Control Panel. I experimented, and received very erratic results. Whereas, changing the levels on the strobes worked rather well. Obviously, if you want to change emphasis on one side or the other, you would adjust the strobes, but it would be nice to quickly change the overall level of illumination through the camera. Any feedback is appreciated. Headed to Cape Ann in MA next weekend, and can't wait to give this housing a go. At this point, only have the 7-14, but that will do for now.
  4. And the Nauticam port and ring for the 12-50, sold as a set, is around $800- evidently starting to ship next week. We knew it was going to be expensive, but... I was also told that it works well with +7 diopter, yielding an image about an inch across at close focus when the 12-50 is in macro mode. NOTE: All second hand from a dealer with one in their hands who have been testing it out.
  5. daz152, Are you still looking for a D700 setup. I have a very complete Ikelite setup that I am looking to sell soon. I would have to inventory all the ports and parts. I am moving to a 4/3rds Olympus OM-D setup, so looking soon to sell everything. Let me know, Thanks, Terry
