  1. do you know if there is any other alternative power source, like for example external battery pack using AA battery or any compatible disposable Li ion battery?
  2. to any A5000 user, where do you buy your spare o-rings? I emailed Blake, but no reply
  3. thx reefkeep. are you also using power2000 charger? if you do, how long does it take to charge from empty? I need a charger that can take DC input, canon's original is too expensive.
  4. can you recommend me other battery pack that has better performance than BP511? thx
  5. NO KIDDING!!! It worked! I had given up on my flooded MD (for over 7 months!). Freeze it for an hour and managed to format it and even filled the whole 1G with pictures and data. The last time I tried to use in my laptop & camera it was "ringing/buzzing" so loud. Thanks a lot for the tips. btw.... will it stop working again after sometime??? is it risky to use it to store pictures? B)
  6. i only want to use it for kayaking, ziplock bag don't have the lens port... B) i did try though
  7. hey, is anybody going to try out the ewa marine U-AXP for 10d? let me know if it is good
  8. You can visit the wreck in Tulamben (Bali - Indonesia), all dives will be from the sand-less shore. Great place for Macro shots. Btw, if I am not wrong, currently there is a promotion from Silk air to Manado from Singapore, just ask around. You also can go to west australia (exmouth) and dive the Point Murat Navy Pier, this place is packed with marine life, a lot of sharks, 1+ meter queensland groupas, octopus etc etc etc, amazing place although it is a bit eerie to me.
  9. Congrats to you and your happy family! you have cute kids there
  10. Uranium, the event is mainly to raise awareness about sharks in Singapore (sad thing is some ppl does not even know that if you fin a shark you actually killing them, they thought fin is like finger nails...) Every shark walker will be given a little shark 'fact&figure' message pinned to back of your t-shirts. The event is open to anybody who wants to show their support for sharks and you are welcome if you are interested
  11. joe, can you show the pictures w and w/o red filter? I like to first shot, the color is not bluish but it's just too bad you are in the same swimming direction as the fish
  12. Joe, have you ever tried to shoot same (almost) pictures with and without red filter? just want to know the difference.
  13. There will be a Shark Walk in May 18, 2003 in Singapore to support for Shark Conservation. Anybody interested to join pls pm me or email directly to wu@wildaid.org. I am not the organizer, but just helping out a friend of mine...
  14. If you want to go further, you can try Naturephoto KANDA [info@naturephoto.co.jp], the guy there is friendly and will answer your enquiry fast (usually).
