  1. I am the original owner of this item which is currently $200 brand new. This bracket functions perfectly and has only minor cosmetic blemishes from normal use. The tripod bracket for Nautican is designed to mount to the bottom of the housing, whether it is DSLR or Micro 4/3rds housing Tripod legs are not included with the bracket. Three 1” ball adapters work with industry standard clamps or with XIT 404’s Twist Clamps (clamps not included). The bracket is black anodized and provided with the ball adapters pre-mounted. The rubber sheet is already installed and this will include the clamp knob (not shown in photos) to attach to the housing.

The TTL trigger also offers manual triggering, including rear curtain sync, with any compatible slave strobe. Accurate automatic TTL flash exposure has been a favorite feature of Nauticam photographers using cameras with pop up flashes, and Nauticam is excited to bring this advanced flash control functionality! 5. I am the original owner (purchased from Reef Photo) of this fully functional Nauticam Housing built for a Canon 5D Mark IV full frame camera. I have taken it to Indonesia a few times on dive trips and I have handled it with care. It has never flooded and never been dropped. Brand new, this will cost over $5,000! I will leave installed two extra ball mounts (as shown in photos). Includes vacuum system with pump tube, battery installed, wrench and spare parts. Set up for optical flash trigger but will include wiring for electronic sync cords as well. This unit is in excellent condition with only minor hard water discoloration (purely cosmetic) on parts of the exterior of the housing (see photos). This will arrive in the original packaging. I have many other accessories for sale including a Nauticam 45-degree viewfinder, Inon Snoot system and more. 6. I cannot figure out how to edit the original post so I am just going to say here that the two Inon Z-240s have been sold. So, they are no longer available.
  7. FYI - I bought this recently and removed the focus knob. Super easy and it works well.

  9. Sure! I bought two Inon Z-330s for strobes. I bought a Nauticam housing with the N100 Flat Port 45 and a WWL-1B which will be used with the Sony 26-60mm lens. I also got a macro port to use with the 90mm Macro Port I bought. I still have my SMC-1 which I will use as a wet lens with the Macro lens.
  10. I am the original owner of this Nauticam 45 degree viewfinder. It is fully functional and in great shape. Never had a single problem with it. Includes the original neoprene case. Shipping determined by your address. $999.
  11. I have used an XIT 404 Tripod underwater which you really only need for video. Anyway, the XIT 404 is a great tripod but it is heavy and a bit cumbersome to deal with underwater. You can forget about taking stills when hauling that thing around. The buoyancy just isn't there.
  12. I just jumped ship on Canon and went to the Sony A1. Have not even had it in the water yet. Hoping to practice in the pool soon.
  13. Martin Edge's book was my bible when I got started. I still reference it regularly.
  14. Get rid of those annoyingly bulky sync cords and enjoy the speed and reliability of fiber optic cables to control your strobes. This unit has received minimal use and comes with batteries installed. Brand new this will cost $220. I will sell this for $150. Please call me at 406-360-3141
  15. I bought this housing brand new from Reef Photo and used it with great love and care (never flooded) since the summer of 2012. I had the Nauticam vacuum system installed last year but it will need an M16 Valve because I needed to take it off for my new 5DMKIV housing. The housing was fully cleaned and serviced in February of 2016 and it has only been in the water (freshwater at that) once since. My price is $2,150 which I am told is fair. You probably already know what you are looking at it if you are at Wetpixel but if you want to read more about the housing you can learn more about it at the Nauticam website. Below is a picture of the actual housing I am selling but you can see a lot more pics here. I have done my best to document the normal wear and tear as it appears but this is a fully functional housing that only needs a camera and a port to go under. Contact me with questions.
  16. I have one I am preparing to list for sale. It has been fully updated and has the vacuum electronics installed. I just uploaded a bunch of pics I took here. Interested? Where would I need to ship to?
  17. Thanks so much for the quick response. I am scared of ML. I have only one camera body and I am fearful that something will go awry. I like the idea of a follow focus. Were you using that from 3:50 to 4:14 in your video? Everything remains crisp there and you don't suffer from the AF "focus hunt" and whirring sound I have lamented so! I just bought a manual focus gear for my Macro lens/port but to do the same for my wide angle would be yet another $750. Ugh!! What an expensive passion to have.
  18. Nice! Did you solely use AF for all the wide angle or did you use any MF?
  19. Hi all: This video is from 1 year ago in Raja Ampat and I am about to go back again in 2.5 weeks. Would love some helpful feedback before I leave if anyone has any. Thank you. www.billmcdavid.com
  20. Nice. What kind of tripod are you using? I seem to only wrestle with mine.
  21. Hi all: Feedback on this would be much appreciated. Going back soon to Raja Ampat for my third trip and I plan on shooting a little more video this time than usual. I am shooting with my Canon 5dmkIII in a Nauticam housing. I am wondering whether anyone has had much success using a manual focus ring for wide angle video shooting on a DSLR? AF works fine I guess but there is always that annoying "focus hunt" that occurs (with the accompanying whirring sound). It seems like I could benefit from the initial AF but then fine tune a moving subject with manual. However, it is spendy to buy this and I don't want to waste my money if it is too difficult or problematic to use. Any thoughts?
