  1. Hi there, Thanks! With wideangle shots I use the CY filter, not with macro. GoPro settings i use; no protune, i shoot 2.7K@ 30fps. Never 60fps (only when i need slomo) because more light will fall onto the sensor @30fps.
  2. The first version was more then 18 minutes, so here's a new version with a little more then 8 minutes. https://vimeo.com/152959616
  3. The Diveplace expedition week aboard the M/Y Blue Planet safari boat in the Egyptian Red Sea. Encounters with Hammerheads, Oceanic Whitetips, Grey Reef Sharks and many other marine life. It was a great week with very nice weather and calm seas. During some dives we experienced some current, so filming was a challenge. The sharks (hammerheads) were hard to film because of the depth. The Red Sea water temperature was very high (30 degrees celsius), so they stayed at almost 50 meters. Nevertheless we were able to capture some nice shots. We also visited the famous wreck site of Abu Nuhas and dived the Giannis D, Chrisoula K, Carnatic and the Thistlegorm. Many thanks to the M/Y Blue Planet crew, Ashraf and all Diveplace divers onboard. Enjoy this new underwater film. 4. O boy, that will be a gopro under the Christmass tree for me. 2.7k@48 would be very nice
  5. I see what you mean. I also don't spend weeks behind a computer for post processing. This film I made in 3 evenings. A Go Pro isn't the same as a DSLR, but I think the results you get are amazing for such a small cam.
  6. Hi, The Go Pro only has camera raw and awb off. So no real exposure control. I'll check if it makes any difference later this week.
  7. And always shoot in 30fps, unless you want slomo. @30fps the shutter is slower so more light will reach the sensor...
  8. If I shoot macro i never use the redfilter, i do when i shoot wideangle and the lights. The macro video is shot with 2 marumi lenses. GoPro was on medium. You don't have the narrow setting when shooting in 2.7k.
  9. True, but i do get a lot of free stuff, like lenses, adapters, filters and mounts...
  10. No but on Vimeo and on Youtube you have the option to acknowledge that the music rights belong to someone else. So the add revenues in front of my videos will go to the holders of the license. i never make money with my videos. Purely a hobby.
  11. Thank you! About 3 evenings. So let's say 12-14 hours. I use PowerDirector 13.
  12. Short video of the little critters from Sulawesi in Indonesia. Captured in the Lembeh Strait and in Bunaken National Park. Some marine life in the video: nudibranches, frogfish, mimic octopus, shrimp, leaffish and many more creatures from almost another planet. Music is from Ludovico Einaudi. I hope you enjoy the video. Equipment: 2 x GoPro Hero 3 Black, BlurFix 3 SO, URPRO Red Filter, 2 x 55mm Marumi Macrolens, 2 x Light & Motion Sola 1200, SRP Tray. Let me know what you think. https://vimeo.com/113448302
  13. Hi there, Just finished my new underwater film from Sulawesi, Indonesia. Diving locations were mainly Bunaken National Park and the Lembeh Strait. Put your speakers on and select full hd. Enjoy! https://vimeo.com/113201584
  14. Ah, lol. I find the software easy to use, especially if you want an easy, fast editing piece of software. It works great. For extensive editing I use PowerDirector. I have mounted the 2 solas woth flex arms to my Snake River Prototyping tray.
  15. Find it? You can download it from the go pro website. I'm using 2 l&m sola 1200
