  1. Thanks!! Well it helped having a dive guide aim the thing for me - I really have NO IDEA how you guys use a snoot alone - I tried and failed spectacularly!
  2. Only managed 8 dives (fell ill towards the end of the trip), but here's the take from that trip: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk9FEetx Was also my first time experimenting with a snoot!
  3. Thanks guys! Sony RX100 Mk1 in a Nauticam with +8 diopter and twin S&S YS-D1s. Dived with Liberty Dive Resort - very highly recommended!
  4. Did a few dives in this AMAZING area for muck action - I was quite literally swimming from critter to critter! http://flic.kr/s/aHsjZpmfe5 Constructive feedback appreciated - third trip with camera so still have much to learn!
  5. Hi Wetpixelers, Back in June I thought I would try out this UW photography thing, so I did some research and got some gear. But I never actually managed to use it at all until this past week (not even get it wet in a pool)!! As this is a milestone moment for me, and has confirmed my love for what I think will be a very long (and expensive!!!) obsession, I thought I would share some highlights from my first experience of underwater photography. Browsing these forums, I am in awe of the level of creativity and skill (and just plain in-the-moment luck) showcased here, and over the coming years I hope to contribute meaningfully as best I can. All constructive criticism appreciated! Click here for full album >>
  6. Am using an Inon UWL-100 Achromat with the dome with my setup. To avoid vignetting zoom needs to be widened out to 1.2x, but this is wide enough for me.
