With the Nauticam Nikon D800 and Sigma 15mm lens my choice would be to use the ZenDP230 dome. But I would like to use a smaller dome for pelagic snorkel photography without strobes. I own the 6"nauticam acrylic dome. However the lens shades touch the inside of the dome. Should I use a small extension ring or cut the shades of the lens. Is there maybe a better small dome choice then the 6" Philip

Insurance is a must. There are 2 major choices: Dan and DEPP I highly recommend DAN. DEPP is almost impossible to reach. They frequently don't return phone calls . And in my experience they quit communicating with me after I put a claim through. They never paid the promised replacement but they did had the nerve to automatically renew my policy???

I just got my Subal and D300 ripped off. Great combination with the Tokina 10-17mm. Don't forget a 105mm and maybe a 60mm for macro with macromate if possible. Have a great trip.

I went to Komodo last year. The Backscatter crew talked me into getting the Tokina 10-17 for that trip. I used this lens instead of my 12-24. The Tokina10-17 was definitely a better choice . Great for wide-angle and split shots. Philip
