  1. Alright guys, I finally made my first dive with my new housing and the 7.5mm. Here you can see a example picture. Almost no vignetting visible!! Sorry for the bad visibility of the lake I just tested the 7.5mm during a short walk into the lake. For the dive I used the 60mm macro because of the visibility and because so far I can't focus with it. Anyways, I am on it to create and print a focus gear for the 7.5mm! But even at 0.25 and F8 it makes pretty nice results. Point and shoot!
  2. I think there are some in UK in the BUY & SELL UWP equipment group on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/273948869393071/808065522648067/?notif_t=group_activity
  3. Today I finally got my housing. Damn German post and their strike!!! Anyways, I was able to do some quick 'dry' shoots. The 7.5mm is really nice and there is really almost no vignetting. In Picture one I was just couple of cm away from a wall to have a clean test shoot. Please note that in the lower corners there is just a bit vignetting, a bit hard to see due to the floor. Picture 2 shows a Micro-Wide-Angle Shoot at f8 and 0.15m. Pretty nice for the first try. I hope I can test the system soon in the water, but this might have to wait for some more weeks.
  4. Seller: eyu It was a pleasure to deal with him. Got some Nauticam stuff from him. Due to strikes of the German post we had to wait for 2 months until it was save to ship everything. Thank you for the patience and the very nice contact. Would deal with him again.
  5. Sorry guys, the housing and port is still at the customs. I will let you know how it works as soon as it arrived.
  6. Hi eyu, I would have bought some, but now it is to late to put them in the package Cheers
  7. I bought now the 4.33 and will test it with the 7.5mm as soon as it arrives (Probably the end of next week).
  8. Hi guys, I know this topic is a bit old, but I am wondering how good the FIT LED2400WSR works for Macro pictures. It seems that most of the people use it for video or wider angle. The specs say that there is a "4500 Kelvin Macro mode". Or is it just the dimmed white output + red light? I think it is a good lamp since it can be used with various angles, which makes it also interesting for the usage with my fisheye, but I am curious whether it is too strong as focus light for macro pictures (which would be my primary usage). Thank you for your advise.
  9. Hello guys and thank you for the first input. I plan to use it with my Olympus E-M1 in a Nauticam housing. The Rokinon is only a 7.5mm. However, I only found some stuff about the 8mm version, which is also mentioned by jmauricio. Probably all the problems with the 8mm are even worse with the 7.5mm. Anyways, it is very exiting that michaeltsantos uses the 7.5mm set-up. I also plaid around this the lens on land and had the same idea with F at 11 or higher. With the new 3D-printer technology it is probably also pretty easy to build a fitting focus gear. Otherwise, I would just turn focus peaking on and put it the focus on 0.15, since I would like to take Macro Wide Angle pictures. It would be extremely nice, if you could share some pictures. I prefer to shoot in 3:2 format, since then there is more space to crop it. Would it be possible for you to upload some in 3:2 and / or 4:3 format? This would be much appreciated. Thank you very much
  10. Hello, I know there are some topics around for the Nauticam 4.33 and 3.5 dome port. However, most/all of the people seem to use the Panasonic 8mm in it. Since I own the Rokinon / Samyang 7.5mm I would like to buy a dome for it. Can anybody share some experiences regarding vignetting in any of the domes, please. Thank you very much.
  11. Hello, Since I am quite new in this forum, some words about myself. I am a scientific diver and dive instructor and will collaborate in future projects (next year) in Australia to investigate the mesophotic reefs (30m - 150m). For this reason I try to find a underwater housing for my Olympus OM-D EM-1. I think the best housing is the Nauticam NA-EM1, because it has the option to create a vacuum inside. In this way it is possible to see, whether the housing is fine or not before stepping into the water. Furthermore, it is the lightest one and there are tons of ports available. New or used, with or without dome doesn't really matter, as long as we can find a price which suits. However, I am especially interested in the Nauticam #36163 Macro Port 65 for the Olympus 60mm macro and the Nauticam 4.33" Fisheye Dome Port #36132 for my Rokinon 7,5mm Fisheye. Although I am in Germany right now, I would consider to check & pick up the housing internationally! Thank you very much.
