  1. Thanks. I am going to sell it though, so anyone wanting a brand new Nauticam SMC-2 for around $200 less than retail, get in touch! Thanks, Tom
  2. Hi, Does anyone know if someone makes adapters for Nautical ports so they fit onto Subl Type 3 housings? Thanks!
  3. OK, thanks. Give me a day to sweet talk my wife and hopefully will buy it and the extension ring for the Tokina. Possibly the other one also. Thanks, Tom
  4. Hi again, Now I get it: your Zen port goes right onto my housing! And I assume I would need the extension ring also, correct? Any guess what the shipping would be from Perth to San Diego, California? And is the dome scratched or damaged in any way? Thanks! Tom
  5. Hi, I have a question: I have a Subal housing with Type 3 port bayonet. Can I use the port adaptor you have for sale to attach a Nauticam or Zen port to my Subal housing? And do I need the 15mm extension ring to use your port with the Tokina 10-17mm lens? Thanks, Tom
  6. Hi Everybody, I'm cleaning out my studio and am selling the following excellent condition lenses: AF Micro-Nikkor 105mm f2.8 lens (Not the VR version) Price: $375. AF Micro Nikkor 60mm f2.8 lens Price $275. Nikkor 24mm f2.8 lens (non-AF) Price $200. All of these lenses are in excellent condition. Never flooded, dropped, or damaged in any way. Buyer pays shipping. Paypal only. If interested, contact me here or at my email: thbjr@earthlink.net. Thanks for looking, Tom
  7. Hi Everyone, I have a totally brand new, unused, still in its original box Nauticam SMC-2 for sale! Its retail price is $980, ( plus tax). I will sell this for $800. Buyer pays shipping. Paypal only. I'm selling this because I have switched to a Subal housing, and I can't really use it. If interested, contact me here or at my email address: thbjr@earthlink.net. Thanks, Tom
  8. Hi, I have recently installed the Subal V3 flash trigger for shooting via fiber cables. Batteries are properly inserted, the LED's are properly positioned, the switch is at 0 for manual shooting, a green LED came on when the batteries were inserted, but with my D850 installed and connected to the hotshot, the flash won't fire. Has anyone had this problem, or has advice on fixing the problem? Thanks! Tom
  9. Hi, No this one is for the N120 system. Best, Tom
  10. Hi All, I have reduced the price for this unused, still in its original box, Nauticam Mini-Dome Port to $450! Buyer pays shipping. Retail price for the same exact thing is $620. This port is a must for Close Focus Wide Angle shooting. Only selling because I switched to a new camera and Subal housing. Paypal only. If interested, please contact me here or at my email: thbjr@earthlink.net. Thanks, Tom
  11. Thanks Everyone, I think it's just a matter of getting the fiber optic trigger and switching out the electronic synch bulkhead (plus plugging the holes in the housing). I'm pretty confident Backscatter will get that done by the time of my trip. And Carol, I will check to see if that's what's hanging up the camera. Could be. Happy 4th! Tom
  12. Hi Carol and Tim, Many thanks for your advice. It turns out that the housing that I got is set up for electronic synch flash and not for fiber optic. Backscatter is working to fix it, and I hope to have it all resolved by July 24, when I leave on my next dive trip. My old type 3 port for the 105 really does't want to go on, so I bit the bullet and ordered the new port specific for the 105mm VR lens, type 3. And, Carol, one last question: even with the 60mm lens mounted in its port, something snags and I can't get the camera in far enough for the housing to close. The problem seems to be on the right hand side. Did you have this issue, and if so, how did you fix it? Everything very much appreciated! Thanks, Tom
  13. Hi Carol, I just got my new ND850 housing. It's also my first full frame. Not had it in the water yet. I also have type 3 ports from my original Subal housing for the Nikon D200. I was wondering if your macro ports still work for the newer 105mm VR, and the new 60mm ED lenses? Mine has focus knobs, and with either of those ports installed, the camera doesn't seat properly on the right side, making closing the housing dicey or impossible. Any thoughts on that? And also, I use fiber cables, and so far, I can't get my strobes to flash. I'm wondering if you had any issues with that? Thanks so much! Tom
  14. Hi Don, I only had the gear for the 105mm VR lens, but it sold with the port, and I did not get the gear for the 60mm. Sorry! Tom
