  1. Thank you for your kind feedback. The SMB is now a souvenir from a great dive
  2. During a drift dive in the big blue at Elphinstone/Red Sea, a Oceanic whitetip attack and destroyed my SMB. We had a unforgettible dive in the blue with this curious and fantastic creature who wanted to taste my equipment The sharks rule.
  3. I just used 2 old broken S&S cable`s, and drilled a hole in. Earlier i considered this http://www.divervision.com/howshot-fiber-adapter-l-for-seasea-ys-strobes-FAL-SS.html, but i`m not sure how big cable this can handle and i don't want the 90 degree angle this adapter creates. Nice quatropod, happy to help you. Looking forward to your video`s
  4. The north sea is full of life and colours, but it's cold (6C as we speak ).
  5. This is a DIY video about building your custom lenght fiber cabel to your flash. This cabel also work with the nauticam flash trigger. Nauticam tells on their site that the Sea & Sea YS-D2 is not compatible with their trigger. Here is a work around. Hopefully nauticam and Sea & Sea send me a thanks
  6. This is a collaborative video with a friend of me Location for the video: Egersund and Lysefjorden Norway. Cameras used: Sony A7 with 90mm macro and +10 diopter in Nauticam housing. Panasonic GH4 with olympus 60mm macro, filmed in 4K @100 Mbs 25 fps. in Nauticam housing. Edited down to 1080p @ 25fps.
  7. Thanks bubffm and GeoPaul7. No i have not used snoot, only two regular video lamps. I think the secret is high F-Stop (i used F22) and water behind your object you try to capture.
  8. Here is a clip of some Polycera quadrilineata nudis i have filmed recently.
  9. Hi Raptor The legs are made of some 3/8" SS tubing i had laying around. The ball ends was a project in the lathe with some plastic. That project didn`t went so good, but good enough to use them as legs I think the best solutions is to buy some cheap ball arms, you can anyway use them as strobe arms when not in use as legs.
  10. This is how i made my DIY quatropod, it is easy and cheap and can improve your film quality. http://www.ti-leidland.no/en/blog/46-scubadiving/136-diy-quatropod-for-underwater-housing https://youtu.be/gQcCVObWaxc
