  1. Hello, just graded some test footage from Bonaire (November 2020). Sony A7SIII, 4K60fps 422 10-bit, ISO 12800 for all shots, Keldan ambient and spectrum filter. Graded in Adobe Premiere with a Phantom Arri LUT:
  2. for sale: Sony A7SIII with +3 years warranty, 1049 shutter count - like new Nauticam housing Sony A7SIII, ~ 30 dives - like new all original accessories, beast of a camera! Euro 6800 (based in Germany)
  3. Nauticam used a picture from me on their website for commercial purpose as well, it was posted on Instagram, nobody asked for permission or even told me that it is shown there. I informed them via mail that i think that it is a copyright violation. The answer was more or less: "based on our interpretation of their current policies this is allowed". I don't know what to think about it. Just bought equipment for 8.000 dollars and my pictures are used to sell their housings! I recommended Nauticam housing to so many people over the last years, maybe that will change - still the products are great. Sorry for the bad english Oliver
  4. I used a Sony A6300 with 10-18F4 and Sony 90F2.8 macro in a Nauticam housing for the last 2 trips. Honestly didn't filmed a lot but i think the camera handled the whitebalance quite nice. I always used auto white balance, no filter and filmed in Cine4 - check out the clip below, most parts ambient light
  5. Hello, just picked up my new Nauticam A7RIII housing with the 230 dome for the Sony 16-35f2.8GM lens. Does anybody using the same system and can give me a rough idea about floating arms? Using the system with 2 Sea&sea YS-D2 strobes. Cheers

  8. Hello everybody, because of the change to full frame I sell my complete Nauticam system & Sony A6300 + Sony 10-18F4 lens. Camera and lens was purchased in March 2016, the Nauticam housing & accessories in August 2016 at a German dealer (not uw-fotopartner.de). Housing has minimal signs of wear (typical slight blowing from the paint, dome has slight scratches on the "lens hood", see pictures). Otherwise no scratches, system is almost like new, about 40 dives. Sony A6300 has about 5000 shutter counts, screen protection installed directly in the shop when it was new. The Sony A6300 with the Sony 10-18F4 in the Nauticam housing with 180mm glass dome is a fantastic combination. You just need strobes or lights and arms - ready to go! Current price of the system EURO ~ 6,000, - Everything else please via PM - sample images are available on: https://www.oliverleyba.com/portfolio/underwater/ - Nauticam NA-A6300 #17416 - Nauticam Vacuum system M16 - #25612 - Nauticam FlexiTray II *NEU* #71207 - Nauticam second grip for easy tray #71208 - Nauticam ball mount for Flexi Tray 2x - Nauticam Zoom Gear Sony SE1018F4 #36173 - Nauticam 180mm glass dome #18809 - Nauticam N85-N120 Port Adapter 60mm #36204 - Nauticam Macro Port 60 für Sony 90F2.8 #18701 - Inon optiical D cable SS Type L 2x - Sony A6300 - Sony ACC-TRW extra battery and charger - Sony SE1018F4 lens

  12. Are there any port/dome combinations for the Tokina or Canon? You will need to use a adapter (Sigma MC-11 or Metabones) and the lengh of the lens will change. I would stick to Sony/Zeiss glass because of the perfect AF (Sony SEL1018F4; Zeiss Touit12F2.8, Sony 90F2.8 Macro). found this a6300/SEL1018 video
  13. You dont need IBIS if you use Sony glass with OSS and you don't need the touchscreen underwater. I would think about the A6300. Can't say much about the WB, will test my A6300 next week for the first time. I will take a greycard with me to do a custom WB underwater. Cheers
  14. I used a ewa-marine bag for snorkeling and for diving as well with my canon 7d. For snorkeling you just need some extra weight in the bag to compensate the air inside of it. Bag was always dry, even after a dive down to 22m. http://www.ewa-marine.com/index.php?id=93&L=1
  15. I don't know the ikelite housings and if they have a lot of ports etc. The Sony 16f2.8 is a pretty cheap lens, some say with soft corners. Quality must be better with the Zeiss 12 or Sony 1018. Benefit from this setup with the Nauticam housing would be that you have the big N85-N120 port adapter and 180 dome which can be used with any other bigger dslr housing and the adapter is needed for the Sony 90 macro (if you wanna step up in some years). But it's pretty expensive. Housing, tray, vacuum, ports and dome (12/1018) ~ 3500
  16. The AF is very fast with all Sony lenses, maybe not with the 90mm macro but I don't think that you really need it. The housing is pretty small, but the ports and the dome for the Zeiss 12mm and Sony 1018 are 7"/180mm. If you want to stay more compact you can go for the Sony 16mm + fisheye converter and the 4" dome which doesn't need any further ports. Compact macro would be the Sony 16-50 and Nauticam CMC or Sony 30mm macro + diopter.
  17. I just bought the a6300 and it is an incredible camera. For wide angle I tried the Zeiss 12F2.8 and Sony 1018F4. I would say the Zeiss is sharper then the 10-18 but the AF is pretty slow and even worse in video mode. I tried the Sony 90F2.8M and the Zeiss 50M/2.8 for macro. Both lenses are very sharp and both are pretty slow when it comes to AF (the Sony is a little bit better). I would not use the 16-50 kit lens, it's very bad. So I will go for the Nauticam housing with the Sony 1018F4 (180 dome port) & Sony 90 macro. Cheers
  18. Just trying to get my a6300 setup together. I have the sony10-18 wide angle lense and I would like to get the Sony 90mm macro as well. Tested the 90 macro yesterday and the AF is very bad so I would need the focusgear from Nauticam. The gear is only supported in the N85-N100 65mm port adapter. For the 10-18f4 Nauticam recommend the N85-N120 60mm port adapter with 180mm N120 dome port. Do you think that the 10-18 will work with the N85-N100 65mm port adapter and 180mm N100 dome port as well? The adapter would be 5mm longer then the recommended N85-N120 60mm.
  19. Hello, just bought the new Sony a6300 and i would like to take it underwater soon. I will get the new Nauticam housing for the 6300 which will ship end of Mai. So far, i just filmed a little with the GoPro and used my Canon 7D with a Ewa Marine bag. I would like to get some Sony Lenses to take advantage of the fabulous autofocus system of the camera (for now I use my Canon Lenses with the Metabones adapter). Now it comes to the question which lense would be the best. Sony 16-70mm f4 or Sony 16-35mm f4 combined with wet wide and macro converters would have the benefit of switching everything underwater if needed. Or better the Sony 10-18mm f4 with a domeport and the Sony 90mm f2.8 macro with the correct port for it (90mm with 1.5 crop maybe to much?). Looking forward to hear your thoughts - sorry for the bad English Cheers Oliver
