  1. Housing is still available. Price reduced to $2,200. Please contact me at a.laviziano@gmai.com for any questions.
  2. Housing is in like-new condition and includes the Nauticam Housing NA-A7RIV with Nauticam M14 Vacuum Valve and standard O-Ring installed, and the Nauticam padded case. Vacuum pumps is not included, nor are any other accessories not listed here. Nauticam Housing NA-A7RIV $ 3,189 plus tax (as per the webpage of Reef Photo & Video) Nauticam M14 Vacuum Valve $259 plus tax TOTAL $3,448 plus tax I am selling for $2,600 including shipping cost (FEDEX or UPS ground, insured) within the continental US. Payment via Paypal within 24h after committed purchase. What does like-new mean: the housing was only used once on a 45 minute dive. On that first dive a few drops of water entered the housing, and I sent the housing back to Backscatter to check. The manufacturer had missed one O-Ring when installing the Vacuum valve. The housing was pressure tested after installation and passed. I have not used the housing afterwards and am selling now. And just to be clear: the housing did NOT flood at all, only 1-2 drops of water entered which I noticed after the dive since camera functionality was not affected.
  3. Hello, I am selling the following Nauticam gear: Nauticam Extension Ring 50 (NA-21150), new price USD 310 Nauticam N100 to N120 35.5mm Port Adaptor with Zoom/Focus Knob (NA-A7II), new price USD 420 Both items have been on one dive trip and seen around 15 dives. Thus, they show very little use (see photo) and are fully functioning. I am selling as this was an emergency purchase when I noticed that I had forgotten to take them along for my trip. I have the same gear already and do not need spares since Nauticam gear holds forever. I am willing to sell at 50% of new price, plus $30 for shipping and tracking of both items combined via standard USPS. If you buy only one of the pieces, shipping and tracking will be $20.
  4. IMHO it all depends on what you want to achieve with your photography. Assuming that you want to shoot RAW (since you might otherwise not be posting on this forum), it is about parameters such as noise level, Auto ISO convenience, general functionality, etc. For example, the Sony RX100 series is great in terms of compact set up, but if you shoot in conditions requiring ISO 800 or higher you are going to see the limitations of the smaller chip. Also keep in mind that wide angle photography starts to push you in the opposite direction again. The mentioned Sony with a Nauticam WWL wet lens starts to turn into a smaller beast again. In order of decreasing size and weight I'd look at the Sony A7 series, Micro 4/3 format (Olympus and a few others) and Sony APS-C (like Sony A65XX), and Sony RX 100 XX. Expect decreasing size to be positive correlated with decreasing picture quality although all of them can deliver beautiful shots under good conditions. Good luck making up your mind.
  5. Difference out of the water is substantial with regards to body weight, but good quality lenses usually have similar weight, thus decreasing the weight differential for a full set up. As pointed out in other posts, difference below water is significant.
  6. Hi, On offer is a complete underwater system based on the Canon 70D which is great for both photos and videos. Included are the camera, two wide-angle Tokina lenses, two Ikelite strobes witih dual sync cord, an 8" dome port and all related extensions, plus various other parts. The only items required to get going with this system are the strobe arms. The housing tray and the strobes are already equipped with the attachment adapters for Ultralight arms. Housing (with leak detector), strobes and the 10-17mm Tokina lens have seen VERY little use and are in mint condition. The system has been in the water for less than 20 dives! The Canon 70D and the Tokina 12-24 have seen above-water use on half a dozen vacation trips but are in good to very good working condition. Lenses and underwater gear were purchased in Q1 2015, and the camera was bought in Q4 2014. Below please find a detailed description of all components offered and some pics. Total cost for the system was $7,700, and I am willing to part with it for $5,200 OBO plus shipping and insurance. I am willing to sell some of the components individually, but particularly for the strobes the discount will be less than it is for the entire package. Payment by Paypal please.
