The Ports...are the ikelite clip style ports...if you know what I mean, they'll fit. They're all in what I would call very good condition. Minor signs of wear.
5501 - short flat
5505.5 long flat port (telephoto?)
I also have what appears to be a zoom gear and zoom clamp.
(both ports $20?)
Strobes
Substrobe AI - Big strobe, powers up, flashes with Nikon camera set on manual. Has built in light. Runs on D batteries. ($20?)
Case - Tamarac, Soft/hard case....it is cloth on the exterior but has reinforcement inside to not allow the bag to flex.
22" x 15" x 9.5" It isn't a wheeley. It has a shoulder strap and carry handle. It is in great condition. ($20?)
Everything is sold with the exception of the case and the large IA strobe. Here's the deal...I'm willing to get rid of this stuff if someone wants to pay shipping. Let me know...thanks,

I have the following for sale. I'm going to list the E520 with the underwater housing and 14-42mm lens, gear and basic 14-42 port for housing as a package but will sell them separately. Please feel free to make an offer on anything as with anything used I'm a little uncertain as to what the market is. I purchased an OMD because it appears my diving will be limited the next few years.
Oly PT-E05 housing, Oly E520, 14-42 lens, PPO-E05 port, Port cover with Woody's wet diopter installed - $500 obo
Housing with port only - $325
Camera and lens only - $225
Inon Macro Port - MRS Olympus 50 Port - $100
PER-E01 port extender for 1.4TC - $75
Olympus 70-300mm lens $225 - SOLD
Olympus 9-18mm lens $375 - SOLD
Olympus 50mm Macro $300 - SOLD
Camera, lenses are in very good condition, I can't find even cosmetic issues on them. All have filters and hoods. Camera has less than 12000 activations. Underwater gear has seen about 100 dives. It hasn't been flooded. The only minor issue is a small scratch on the port. scratch is finer than a human hair and will not show up in photos due to light refraction properties of glass and water being similar. Please email for photos.

I picked up an ikelite rig for my wife but we have several extra ports that we have no idea what they are and will never use. I believe one of them is what you're looking for. http://www.flickr.com/photos/25230308@N07/7346335868/
Any let me know if this is what you're looking for.

thanks for the feedback and suggestions so far... that 5N case looks VERY intriguing... but in the end... my wife was already upset that i once burned a Nikon D300 underwater w/ a cheap pouch. so she's not letting me go under w/ the NEX-5N. haha..i ended up purchasing a cheap Canon G10 with a WP-DC28 case... all for $340AUD. hard to go wrong with that... RAW file output.. good start.
i think the first time around, i will forgo any external flash configurations. does anybody have tips on how to best handle the camera while diving? wrist strap is the best way to go? clip to BCD?
Yeap....don't dive with something you don't want to flood. Anyway, I hate wrist straps...they always seem to want to tangle so when I carried a point and shoot, it was either in my BC pocket or on a lower d ring.
Cheers,
Gary

I started diving and shooting with a back inflation vest, dacor falcon. I loved in under the water but hated it at the surface. I tried several things that were suggested to me at the time and nothing worked to keep me from face planting at the surface..including putting liess air, remaining motionless etc etc. It was so frustrating that I moved into a jacket style BC.

Maybe the speed of my internet but it took 3 times to load your site...once there...you should be very proud. Those are great shots.

several items still available...make an offer?Actually tested the strobes with a nikon digital camera set to manual mode and it fires both strobes...so they work. No ttl, just manual with digital.

A wet diopter like a woody's or inon would fill the frame with the subject. With those olympus zoom lens, I've taken the port cover and "surgically" placed a woody's right in the middle. Has worked very well for me.

I've been out of the game for awhile but I thought backscatter is light reflected directly back into the shutter creating a hexagonal (shape of aperture) ghost in the image. I see mostly just lighted particulate in the photo suggesting that your subject matter was too far away. Anyway, maybe I'll tune back in a day or so and get a better understanding. BTW...that lighted particulate is really what drives underwater photogs nuts. It is hard to avoid. Generally I get the best results in turbid water by angling my strobes out (most say in) and taking off the diffusers (most say leave them on)...so go figure.

I love the review, but the hard to see EVF has this macro photographer a little concerned. LCD's are great until you're trying to find a grain of rice in a salad. I hope someone recognizes this need and moves forward wtih a better housing with that in mind. Otherwise, what is not to like!

thanks very much for the information. It is great to hear about the shoreside attractions and will definately keep in mind the helicopter ride!I've dived Oahu on several occasions and enjoyed my dives there quite a bit. The terrain is a little different as there is very little colorful coral off Oahu, however, very sharky which was great. There's also a ton of octopus there. I've seen sharks on almost every dive at the pinnacles off Pearl Harbor. I've not personally dived the big island of Kona but its on my wish list. In particular there is a Manta Dive where they show up rather regularly. In addition there's this little gem of a dive that would be nothing short of spectacular.http://www.bigislanddivers.com/Black.html I can't speak much to Kauai other than it is the most rustic and secluded of all the islands. I've shore dived Oahu twice...once at shark cove the other inside of Hanauma Bay.

I don't know if you're still trying to speed this up, but unfortunately the max sync speed is typically set by the minimum exposure time that allows the shutters to be fully open. Any faster and a flash firing will light only a slit of the image. I do see a Super FP mode in the specs, however, which can go faster but requires a compatible flash (that stays lit an unusually long time). You may have some luck going down that path but I sincerely doubt you're going to be able to improve on the x-sync speed of the camera.By the way, how are you liking the E-PL3?
I believe if you buy the Olympus underwater strobes you can increase your sync speed...I would email tropical1 here on the forum.
