  1. Hi, I'm just sharing my short footage using easy custom white balance method on my Canon G7X in a Nauticam housing with Inon UWL-H100 lens. I'm still learning how to edit underwater footage even though I've been shooting for quite a while now. Do comments and subscribe to my Youtube channel if you like the content. That would be appreciated! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Etwi6g9sg4
  2. Its quite excellent as far as I concerned. Never really had any serious issue with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Absolutely agree with you. G7X does have a lot of things to offer when it comes to uw. I'm also a Canon user through out the years. Love the color science! Nick Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Thank you! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Yes it is, even with N50 short port there’s still some vignette because of the 24mm fixed lens the G7X but its considerable for some WA shots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hi guys, i just wanna share some image samples from Canon G7X. I know its a bit outdated but quality is the same as Mark II. Just in case if anyone’s looking for affordable compact setup. All photos were taken in Tulamben last year. List of gear being used. Canon G7X Dual Inon D2000 Inon UWL H100 Subsee +10 and Noodilab Shamu diopters Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Haha i see, how much you willing to sell for Type 4? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi, looking for used pair of strobes either D2000 or Z240. Offer me best price possible. Currently in Malaysia, i can do payment through Paypal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nauticam arms are really good thats for sure.
  9. ouh yeah..it does make sense since we use strobes most of the time. I rarely used base ISO100 anyway. Allright, thanks for the help mr. Griff!
  10. I'm about to step up to DSLR system in few months so I sold my 5 year old 6D and already bought the mark II instead since I'm gonna break my bank account for the housings and stuff. The only thing that is teasing me is the -0.2 stops difference compared to previous 6D. Does it really make any differences when shooting underwater? I've already tested, shoots in RAW and overall I can say is fast focus, excellent tracking, pretty accurate custom WB and I'm satisfied enough with the IQ, IF its land based but underwater, didn't find any review yet.
  11. Hey guys, I'm looking for a bagpack that i can put my compact system so I did try to find informations of what kind of bagpack can i use but its a bit hard cz most divers use a hard case like Pelican and I also have one but its just for storage. So I need to find one bagpack just for transportation. Below is the stuff that I need to put in all together. 1) Nauticam G7X dual tray handle (28cm x 14cm x 18cm) 2) Inon D2000 strobes x 2 3) Inon H100+dome 4) 2 small video lights 5) 2 float arms (20cm x 6cm) 6) 2 mask boxes My primary concern is only the housing itself. My current camera bag doesn't fit the housing so i need to put the housing separately. I've been thinking of Think Tank, Manfrotto but the one would fit it all are quite expensive, almost the same as pelican case. So yeah, if there's anyone can suggest a cheaper bagpack (based on the housing's measurement) below USD150, do comment below.
  12. Hi, I used Canon G7X and recently i switched from fantasea housing plus dome to nauticam housing because of wide angle problem. I really wish that I can shoot some sort of ultra wide (weitwinkel) fish eye image so I wonder which lens would do good if I were using it with N50 short port. My options are limited below and so can anyone give me opinion about which lens offer the widest angle when using short port without vignetting? In terms of corner sharpness, I can tolerate with that. a) UWL4(fix/idas) with 67mm-52mm step down ring b) UWL5 idas b) inon H100 plus dome II My friend told me that if I used standard port, there would be slight vignetting so thats why i plan to buy the optional short port but i just want to ensure about that since i can't find post or pictures regarding the short port setup. Tq.
  13. Hi guys, I'm Nik Fizri and I'm a fellow scuba diver as well as a PADI Instructor based in Perhentian Island, Malaysia. Before I joined scuba diving years ago, I worked as a photographer too and when I started diving, I really wanted to learn more about underwater photo and videography. So I really hope that I can learn more about underwater with you guys. Cheers
