  2. I have used black gaffesr tape and it has worked best for me. I found electrical tape to be a little more reflective in certain lighting conditions, especially when using a surf housing, and I am above water shooting surfers.
  3. $350.00, it's in good condition. It's was my primary camera for a few years. I originally included the Nikon D7000 with this package. http://wetpixel.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59964&p=383906
  4. I’m interested. Can you send me all that’s included in the package? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. yes I have one I can sell. Im in So. Cal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I recently had the same issue. However, I solved it by using blue painters tape to secure the flash in place keeping the flash from popping up by accidentally when hitting the flash button on the Meikon housing.
  7. Selling an Aeris A300 CS OLED air integrated homeless dive computer. I originally spent $1,300.00 USD new in May 2014. I will sell it for $799.00 OBO. Dive computer is in excellten condition. I purchased new in May 2014. I used it in Belize on a 10 day dive vacation. The computer itself worked flawless. However, the Bluetooth function didn’t. A few mioth went back and for fourth with Aeris/Oceanic until their software engineers fixed the issue. Instead of doing an software firmware upgrade Aeris had me send in my dive computer and they replaced it with a completely new unit. In 2015 I went back to Belize for a short trip and I only put 7 dives on the new computer. I don’t really need to sell the computer, but I have three and the moment, and I am will ing to part with this computer. Included is: Aeris A300 CS Dive Computer (upgraded edition) USB Cable Connector from USB to Dive Comp. 10. I am selling my SLP Waterhousing for surf photography. I purchased this surf housing brand new from SPL Warehousing in San Diego for $1699.00 USD. I used this several time taking images for friend and family surfing in Southern California. This SPL Waterhousing is designed for the Nikon D7000 camera body. When I purchased the surf housing new, I bought it with the Flat Port. I didn’t have a fisheye lens at the time so to be compatible with the Nikon Nikkor 18-70mm Kit lens. It worked great with that lens I just had a slight bit of vignetting at 18mm. I could also zoom out to 70mm. The 70mm was handy on big wave days if you just did not want to get too close to the close up action in the impact zone. I am selling my SPL Surfhousing, because I have recently change camera brands and the new Sony brand is not compatible with this housing. This housing has never been flooded, nor have the seal been compromised in any way. All the glass is scratch free and in pristine condition. I still have the Nikon D7000 camera body if you are interested in purchasing as a package. Item that are included. A-Series SPL Watrehousing (Welded Aluminum) Flat Port (wide angle) Neoprene Port Cover Detachable Pistol Grip with Trigger Detachable Side Grip 3/8 nuts Plastic Wingnuts GoPro Mount Silicone Grease SPL Waterhousing Nikon D7000 A-SERIES camera waterhousings are not dive housings, they are splash rated for water action sports only. Although not made for underwater diving photography, they are great water housings for photographing surfing, sailing, kite boarding, bodyboarding, fishing or many other shallow water activities. Construction: Housings are constructed of ultra light weight aluminum. Sheared, formed on a sheet metal press brake then welded solid by a certified welder. All aluminum is hard anodized to protect against salt water corrosion. The water housing is then painted with industrial powder coat paint. Features and Controls: ▪ Aperture ▪ Shutter speed ▪ Manual shutter release ▪ Back focus (by request) ▪ Detachable flash option ▪ Interchangeable Ports ▪ Other controls can be added for an extra cost Depth Rating: ▪ 15-20ft ▪ All housings made by SPL can handle any size surf you have the nuts to swim into. ▪ These are not dive housings and they should not be treated as such. Weight and Dimensions: Weight 3 lbs with fisheye port and pistol grip
  11. This is great advise. However I don't use the BBF on my D7000 underwater only on land. The problem I find is the location for the button to do BBF underwater with gloves on is not as easy to actuate.I get so focused on the button, and action of the button, that sometimes I miss the shot.
  12. I have done this dive back in March of 1997 off the Kona Aggressor. It was an awesome dive, especially after all the cattle boats leave. I shot video of the entire dive with only one light. I was instructed to place the light hi above the lens with the beam out maybe three to five feet out in front of the lens \ point downward. The Mantas are plankton feeders as you know. What happens is the plankton will be attracted to the video light like moths. So you want the light to be high above the lens to keep the plankton out of the image, but still have enough light to illuminate your subject. Also the the Mantas will come in close to feed on the plankton gathered at the light. The mantas will do the backward somersault flip over, and over, and over again, feeding on the plankton until you get bored or they get full. I still talk about my '97. To this day it is still my most talked about dive experience. One of these days i will get all that footage off my High 8mm video tape. Cheers, enjoy your trip...
