  1. Anyone know of an U/W housing for this camera? Where to buy? Thanks.
  2. I have read about add-on lenses, macro or 2x, for the Canon U/W enclosure. Does anyone know where to buy such lenses? Any links to a list of what is available? Also, is there any way to use an external flash with this U/W case?
  3. I have that U/W case too. The booklet that comes along with it lists the following phone # in North America for Canon Customer Support: 800-828-4040. Perhaps they can tell him where to get the o-ring.
  4. Here are some shots I took last week with a Canon S40 and the Canon U/W enclosure. I'm a novice at this, so I welcome your comments and advice. Snorkling in Grand Cayman Snorkling in Stingray City (also in Grand Cayman) These suckers swim up on you really fast, so it was hard to actually get a shot of them far enough away that you see the whole thing. However, they are very friendly and just want some free food, which we were happy to give them. Here is one from SCUBA diving off of Tabyana Beach in Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras. This shot was down at about 40 feet, no flash used. Yes, the water in Roatan is THAT clear at 40'.
  5. I have the exact same equipment, the S40 with the Canon U/W enclosure, and I just used it for the first time last week on a Western Caribbean cruise. Here are some of the shots I took (I'm also going to post these in the Galley): Snorkling in Grand Cayman Snorkling in Stingray City (also in Grand Cayman) These suckers swim up on you really fast, so it was hard to actually get a shot of them far enough away that you see the whole thing.
