Did some testing of my GX-1 with Panasonic 8mm fisheye in the pool at a focus distance of 6" (and in air) with a Nauticam housing and waterproof ISO 12233 target. Interesting results. Seems the Nauticam 4.33" dome changes the optics in air and also in water. The best images underwater were beginning at about F7 to about F10 and dropped off a bit on the edges at smaller F stops. Helps me to know where the sweet spot of the lens IN THE DOME is! Wonder how the Zen glass port would look like?

I am using the Canon 16-35mm II lens with a Canon 5D and Aquatica housing. My previous SLR set up was an F3 in Aquatica. So I have gone from total manual to total auto. I am currently not using strobes and freediving with the 5D and 16-35mm. This is my only lens I plan to use underwater. I am also using a green water magic filter so I have lots of light limitations. I just purchased a 5D, Aquatica and Canon 16-35. I am using it without a strobe, freediving in the PNW so I am light challenged. I also have a Magic filter. you can see images at http://www.underseaimages.com/blog I like the housing except for the zoom/focus knob placement. They put it high to make room for the lens release button gear which I will never use. I use the zoom knob alot so I plan to modify the Aquatica left handle so I can get to the zoom easier.
