  1. Here's a quick video I did of a couple of shore dives and one snorkeling session off the coast of California @ La Jolla. From April 1-2, 2019. Shot using a Panasonic GH5 camcorder, panasonic 14-42mm lens, and Keldan Video 8X lights. Snorkeling shots done with a GoPro Hero 7 -Roger Uzun rogeruzun@gmail.com
  2. I posted a short video of a snorkeling session I had on Nov 6, 2018 in La Jolla Cove with some California Sea Lions, primarily to test out the Hero 7. It's on Vimeo here - -Roger Uzun rogeruzun@gmail.com
  3. I've uploaded a short video from a snorkeling trip I took last Thursday, Nov 1, 2018, off San Diego CA. We ran into some baitballs and I shot this using my GoPro Hero 7 and Phantom 4 Drone. -Roger Uzun rogeruzun@gmail.com
  4. A short video I did when in the Philippines in October of 2017. Shot using a Panasonic GH5 w/ 14-42mm lens in a Nauticam Housing. WWL-1 port and +10 (surface, +3 UW) diopter. This one features Dugongs off Coron in the Palawan region. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro

  8. I already have the Panasonic 14-42mm I use for all my shooting now, with the WWL-1 and Diopters as needed. I am thinking about when I know I'm shooting sea lions, seals, sharks etc at some depth, the faster lens would be helpful.
  9. Does anyone use the Panasonic f/1,7 15mm lens with a Nauticam Housing on their GH5 rig? Does it work ok with the WWL-1 wide angle adaptor or would there be vignetting? Nauticams port charts don't support using the Panasonic f/1.7 15mm with any port but I recall someone saying it worked well. Would you use the Nauticam N85 Power Zoom Macro Port 29, and would you be able to put the WWL-1 on that port without any vignetting or other issues? -Roger Uzun
  10. Went Snorkeling here in San Diego, CA this AM (April 1st). Water temps were very cold, 50-51F. Still there were several turtles around, and some seven gill sharks as well. I don't know how the turtles can stand such cold water. The air temps were warmer but the turtles never seem to leave the water so... Here's a short video of the mornings swim, shot with a GoPro Hero 6 Black - -Roger Uzun
  11. I would only want the 15mm as a faster alternative to the 14-42mm mkii when shooting wide angle in natural light conditions at depth. Like seven gills in a kelp forest type thing. I have the 14-42mm and 35 macro port setup now that i use. Does CA affect video as much as stills. I am only really concerned with video, I dont really shoot stills UW. -Roger
  12. So if I wanted to have a faster lens for wide angle available light with the WWL-1, I need : 1) Nauticam N85 Power Zoom Macro Port 29 2) The Panasonic f/1.7 15mm lens Do I need some sort of 67mm to wwl-1 adapter in order to attach the wwl-1 to the Macro port 29? Why don't they list this as compatible in their lens chart for the panasonic I wonder?
  13. Does the 15mm f/1.7 Panasonic lens work with the WWL-1? Nauticam does not list it as compatible, but if you needed to shoot wide angle with a fast lens it might be a good alternative to the 14-42mm Lumix Mkii. (I use the 14-42mm Mkii, and I do think the Dual IS, even though its just the old Dual IS helps). My ideal lens would be a WWL-1 compatible f/2.8 14-42mm that supports Dual IS2! Wish there was such a thing.
  14. Here's a short video I made showing the recent Tuna Crab Invasion at La Jolla Shores and Cove in San Diego CA. This video shows the disruption all these crab have on other species in the area. Shot in March of 2018 using a Panasonic GH5 camera, Nauticam Housing and Panasonic 14-42mm lens.
  15. Here's a short video of a dive at La Jolla Cove in San Diego, CA from March 13, 2018. Poor viz so not really good quality, shot with existing light and a Panasonic GH5 w/ Panasonic 14-42mm lens in a Nauticam Housing. At least there were plenty of sharks around, although I wasn't able to get too much good footage of them due to conditions. Water temps warmer than usual for this time of year, about 59F. -Roger Uzun
