  1. So far I've only used my D7000 for shooting stills but I'm off to Lembeh next week and thought I'd try a little video too. What focus and AF-Area modes work the best for you underwater??
  2. We spent a week cave diving in the Tulum area, Mayan Riviera. It was our first time there but won't be our last, a week wasn't long enough... Using D7000 & Aquatica housing 10.5 fisheye lens 2 x 160 Ikelite strobes 3 x 125 Ikelite strobes on the divers backs
  3. I would like the manual controller. I'll send you a PM....
  4. I've always used Captains Corner when diving the Vandenburg. They do a 2 tank dive or as we did 1 long deco dive.
  5. We were on a liveaboard there Feb 2011, we saw 3 Mantas the whole week, no whale sharks and some Macro, we'd just come from the Philippines so it didn't seem like much. The reef hook was supplied by the boat. We saw lots of reef sharks but not up close. Here are some photos we took PHOTOS
  6. We are have problems with backscatter from one strobe. We are using a D70, Ikelite housing, Nikon 10.5 lens, 2x DS125 strobes 16+ 6inch strobe arms both sides. We have the stobes pointed slightly out and have pointed them even more out but the problem is still there. Below is a RAW image with the backscatter on the upper left. This ia a crane that fell off a barge in Lake Ontario @ 140ft. Any ideas how to solve this problem??
