  1. Hello Everyone, I put together some clips of several Octopuses that I encountered during some night dives in the Philippines. Make sure to play in HD! Let me know what you think. Enjoy! Dustin https://vimeo.com/95510899 Or Youtube
  2. Hello Everyone, I played around with the circular end of the 8-15mm fisheye on a few dives in Komodo. It is kind of fun. I thought motion made it more interesting. The distortion and view of the reef is interesting as well. It certainly isn't something you would film with on a regular basis. Unless you had a specific idea you were going for. I am curious to know if there is a way to make the circle not cut off on the top and bottom. Anyway, let me know what you think. Dustin Or Youtube
  3. Hello Everyone, I have finished another short film. It is called Critter Planet. It has some old and new footage in it. But it also has a story line. Also, I have added some timelapse from the International Space Station. I downloaded over 150,000 pictures to try to get what I came up with for moving earth sections. Whats even cooler, is that they allow anyone to use it free of charge! (as long as you give them credit). Let me know what you think. Please like, share and comment! Or for Youtubers!

  7. Hello Everyone, Went diving in the Galapagos in August for the first time, and boy was that an interesting destination! We pretty much saw everything...Really a spectacular trip, above and below water. One dive, which has to be one of the most unique I have ever done/heard of...is the Marine Iguana dive. During a certain hour of the day, the Marine Iguanas head to the ocean from the land and swim and eat the seaweed and algae. Hundreds of them are in the water. Really a fun dive...cold but fun! We lucked out with excellent visibility, which is not typically the case in this particular dive. Here is a video I put together of it. Please feel free to Share or Like it. Also, any comments good or bad are welcome. Enjoy, Dustin https://vimeo.com/78419332
  8. In good condition, my UK-Germany housing for a Canon 5D (mki). Done about 200 dives with it, shows small signs of use but is mostly in great condition. As with any UK-Germany housing it is very solid built (aluminium) with a very nice dark grey coating. Pleas pm or email me for more info (info@rudgr.com).
  9. Hello all, I wanted to post my latest film effort. I was fortunate enough to have it selected to be shown at the SDUFEX film expo. Let me know what you think. Let me know what you liked and didn't like. I am always looking to improve. Hope you enjoy it! Dustin https://vimeo.com/76389975
  10. Aquatica housing for the Canon 5D Mark II for sale. The housing was bought on WetPixel from FirstLight (James of Firstlight Films) It's in excellent condition, it has the microphone cable disconnected, as recommended by Backscatter, and came to me like this. James used the camera on one trip for only around five dives. I've used it on one trip to the Cayman Islands, 7 dives and two snorkelling sessions at Stingray city. Basically it's like new and comes with the original box, manual, O-ring, water leak alarm, 2 Nikonos V bulheads and the standard pistol grip handles. The lanyard and slot mounts on the handles in the pics are not included, and I do not have any ports for sale. I'm only selling due to a bad case of upgraditus and now have the 5D Mark III. I'm asking £1,700 for this beautifully machined piece of aluminium craftsmanship. That's a £750 saving on the new price from suppliers in the UK. I am based in the UK Delivery costs are not included in the price and will be calculated depending on location. I will consider posting internationally. PM me for more details or additional photos, don't miss out on this bargain, make me an offer...!

  13. Hello all: I was in the Philippines this last month, and had the good fortune of being able to film an extremely rare nudibranch. The Kalinga Ornata! To my knowledge, this is the only video of the nudibranch in a natural and behavioral standpoint. Even Roger Steene hasn't seen this nudibranch yet! After reviewing my footage that evening, I noticed that I caught it eating a Brittle Star. With it's translucent body, you can see the star moving around in the body. I didn't know it was feeding when I was shooting it. So that was a pleasant surprise! I am sorry for all the junk in the water. It was a very silty dive site, and being a night dive, my lights were attracting all sorts of critters. Let me know what you think of the video, and if you have ever seen this nudi before either video or photo. Thanks, Dustin

  15. Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice on a possible camera upgrade. I am looking at purchasing a canon 5d mk3 but i would like to know what lenses people are using & what you find works & more importantly, what doesn't work. Both macro & wide. Is anyone using the canon 17-40mm & what macro lenses? I am leaning towards an ikelite housing. Is anyone using one of these? Even a 5d mk2 version? Any feedback on the housing would be greatly appreciated also. Thankyou. Cheers pete.

Will this setup be fully compatible (I understand TTL will not work) and functional? 2. I have no idea which arms to look at Please help 3. Have I missed any pieces / parts to make this setup function? Please make any suggestions / alternatives.
