  2. Hi There, I am going out to Cozumel for 2 weeks diving in July this year, and having never dived in the Caribbean area, I am unsure as too what lenses to take. I normally go to the Red Sea and mainly just leave my TOkina 10-17 on my camera for most of the week, and enjoy the wide angle shots of all the reefs there. However there are few decent pictures from Cozumel on the web so I don't know whether the fisheye lens will be too wide. Due to baggage restrictions I can't really take more than one lens/port combination, so I am OK with the 10-17 fisheye, or is it best to take a macro lens or 10-14 wide angle. Thanks!

  4. Hi macro enthusiasts! I am having probably a silly problem, but cannot find the solution by myself, so I'd need some advice... My camera is an OM-D EM-5, that I use with an Olympus 60mm macro, all in Nauticam housing+port. This works brilliantly, the camera focuses very well underwater. But when I add my new Subsee+10 dioptre, attached with the Nauticam flip dioptre holder, I cannot manage to get in focus. That brilliant auto focus doesn't work at all anymore. I was expecting some degradation, but not that much. What's your experience with such a setup? Do you shoot everything in manual focus? cheers, Nicolas
  5. Nauticam NA-600D Housing with MP41 Macro Port Excellent working condition, with cosmetic wear consistent with use. The housing has seen about 260 dives in Indonesia since August, and has never had a leak of any kind. The included MP41 flat macro port accommodates the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 lens (included.) I used the MP41 in conjunction with an Extension Ring 50 (not included) to house the EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. There is a small scratch on the lower front of the port glass that does not show up in photographs. Nauticam Focus Gear for the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens Canon EOS 600D / Rebel T3i, 18MP APS-C Sensor, Full 1080p HD Video Excellent working and cosmetic condition. Purchased new from B&H in August 2012, and has approximately 21,000 shutter actions (99.9% of those were underwater). Camera has functioned perfectly with no issues, has no cosmetic flaws, and has been treated with a lot of love. Most original accessories included, along with a second Canon battery. Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens Purchased new from B&H in August 2012, is in excellent working and cosmetic condition, with zero issues. Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Autofocus Macro Lens Purchased new in Singapore in October 2012, is in excellent working and cosmetic condition, with zero issues. Asking Price: $3300 (30% off original price of all items) Would like to sell as a complete unit, and not for individual parts. Reason for selling is that I have upgraded to the 5D MkIII. Pictures available upon request. I also have a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L wide zoom lens that I could include for an additional cost.

  7. Hey all, I have finally decided to buy the Ikelite housing for my Nikon D7000 (cannot afford another brand and I currently own a DS160 and 161). However I went to a Nikon centre yesterday and tried out the 60mm f2.8, the 85mm f3.5 and the 105mm f2.8. My preference goes for the 85mm but everyone is raving about 60mm. My concern is that using the 60mm for the macro that I want to do, I need to be at 5cm (2inches) from my subject whereas with the 85mm, I can be at double that distance from my subject. Now, I do not know very much about photography, but if I add a wet Subsee +10 diopter, will I be able to get a few more cm (or inches) away from my subject if I use the 60mm? I will most probably be buying the Ikelite dedicated flat port for the 60 or 85mm. Is there a 67mm thread on those ports? If not, what diopter holder would you recommend? I don't really want to spend 500USD on a diopter holder. Thanks so much for your support. Ben
  8. My entire Nauticam D7000 System is for sale for both macro and wide angle. Equipment for Sale: Nikon D7000 Body + 18-105 Kit Lens Nauticam NA D7000 Housing (original) Nauticam to Subal adapter Type 3 Subal Type 3 4in Mini-dome + extension for correctly aligning the 10-17 Subal Type 3 Flat Port (for Nikon 60mm) Subal port extender (for Nikon 105mm) Tokina 10-17mm Nikon 60mm Macro (G ED) Nikon 105mm Macro (non VR) Willing to part with it for $5,800. Located in the US (Miami), buyer pays shipping of his or her choice. Brand new, this is a nearly $8,000 system and is one of best set ups for Underwater Photography on the market today. I would like to sell this system complete to a loving home and am not interested in breaking the system up at the moment. Since our son was born, I am just not able to find the time to dive as much. The little diving I have done has meant travel (difficult to travel with a baby and full DSLR housing). I've actually used my former compact system more! The housing is in incredible condition. Despite being two years old, it has less than 20 dives and has just returned from Reef Photo & Video with a full service. All lenses are in like new condition with clean optics. Both the mini dome and flat port are in very good condition with clean optics. Photos below, however please PM me for more details & photos Additional items I am willing to sell individually are: Tokina 11-17mm $500 Nikon 70-300 $350 Nikon 50mm 1.8 $100 Kenko 1.4 Teleplus Pro 300 teleconverter $50 Nikon SB-900 Speedlight Flash $400 Subal Type 3 8in Dome Port - $300 (FD: it has two small scratches on the glass. They do not show up in photos unless directly pointed into the sun and are easily fixable in post) Please PM for further details
  9. I am selling the following, everything is in perfect working order and has been meticulously cared for. The glass on the domes is perfect, shade on the 200mm zen is slightly scruffed. The housing was fully overhauled by Nauticam USA 2 months ago (300$) and has never flooded. Please PM if interested in more detailed photos of any item, just let me know the angles you'd like. I am located in seattle, buyer pays shipping. Happy to entertain offers. Thanks for looking!
