  1. I have a basically brand new Nauticam Canon R5C housing with Zen 230 glass dome. I purchased this from Reef in September for some pole cam work we were doing for an IMAX project. It has only been used about 5 times at the surface. Thought I would hang onto it, but deciding to sell to make room for some other kit. This is a pretty comprehensive list of what I have in the kit, but probably a few other small items. Set-up for the Canon RF 15-35 and the Canon EF 8-15 lenses. I can also include the specific USB battery cells for the R5C. I paid 12K for the kit, plus another 2k in various bits not listed on the original invoice. Looking to get 10K or best offer. Nauticam R5C Housing Nauticam M16 Vaccum Valve Zen 230 Glass Dome Nauticam N120 Extension 70 Nauticam N120 Extension 30 Nauticam Gear Set for Canon RF 15-35 Natuticam Gear Set for Canon EF 8-15 Nauticam Control Kit for Drop In ND/Pola RF to EF Nauticam Mounting Ball Set for Tripod. In addition to this list I have an Ikelite remote trigger port set-up for it with short and long cables and also HDMI port for monitor. I paid 12K for the kit, plus another 2k in various ports (remote trigger and HDMI) not listed on the original invoice. With the proper USB cell batteries, I was about 15K in with taxes, shipping, ect... Looking to get 10K for it. Bryan Smith bryan@reelwaterproductions.com
  2. Selling a Nauticam N120 Macro Port 94. This port can be used with either the EF or RF Canon 100mm F2.8L IS lens. Port and glass are in great condition, as shown in pictures. However, I do not have the port. I can send more pictures if necessary. Asking $420 + Shipping, but open to reasonable offers.

I'm looking to by a reasonably priced Canon 7D. If you also happen to have a 100mm macro 2.8, I would also be interested Thanks
  4. Hi, I'm looking at getting a wide angle lense (I can only afford one wide angle and one macro set-up atm, so both is not an option). The top 2 contenders seem to be the Tokina 10-17mm and the Canon 10-22mm. I hope to shoot larger animals like whales, sharks, large schools and to a lesser extend some reefscapes and wrecks. The Tokina seems to be the more popular lense, but I'm concerned about the ballooning that comes with the fish eye effect. Any advice or experience is appreciated. Thanks.

  6. Hi, the question is more Ikelite vs something more expensive for a Canon 7d. I've practiced photography for many years, but this is my first foray into UW (besides action cams). I'm primarily looking at the used market and want to know what benefits I'd really get from spending a bit more on an aluminium housing vs the cheaper Ikelite polycarbonate option. Price is definitely an important factor, but if there are significant issues with using a plastic housing (i.e. fogging, less reliable) I would be willing to spend more. As a second part of the question, what are people's opinions regarding the different Al housings? I've seen several reviews of the Aquatica and the Nauticam, which seems to put the Nauticam on top. I am also located in Colombia (South America), meaning buying from the US is relatively easy, but from Europe expensive (where Hugyfot seems to be more available) Thanks for any advice.

  8. *Like New* IKELITE 200DL Housing Kit for Canon EOS R6 with case I purchased this housing last year for a dive project that fell through. The current included port extensions are setup for the RF 15-35 f2.8 lens, but these can be added/subtracted as needed for other lenses. Kit includes: -200DL housing for R6 -8 inch dome lens port -50mm lens port extension -28mm lens port extension -right handle and shutter extension -zoom focus gear -vacuum pump -Nanuk 955 hard sided travel case -all necessary accessories + tools Total value MSRP: $3,185.00 Asking price: $2,500.00 (free shipping included for continental US) text 815-517-8549 for details/if interested. 10. Hi all. I am new to posting here. I do not usually shoot with a compact camera so please bear with me. What is the sync speed of the Canon G7x ii? I am using Optic cables to trigger the strobes and was wondering was is the limit on the shutter speed. Thanks
  11. With Canon full frame cameras (and Nikon, I believe too), the WACP-C and WACP-1 from Nauticam require old lenses that have been discontinued. For example the EF 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 V USM was released in 1999. The EF 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 II is even older. Any thoughts on the expected lifespan of these lens if they are purchased now? Put another way, for the people that have purchased these lens over the last three years to use with these water contact optics, have you experienced a failure in the lens that required purchasing another lens so that you can continue to use your expensive piece of Nauticam equipment?
  12. Nauticam underwater Zoom and Focus gear for Canon 16-35 lens. Works with nauticam housings. I would consider selling separately, make an offer. 15. Feeling I have perhaps bitten off more than I can chew, I am putting up a basically new complete Canon C70 Cinema Camera system with equally new Nauticam housing for sale. The condition on everything still looks like they all just came out of box. Boxes for the housing, C70 camera body and lens are included. Canon EOS C70 Cinema Camera comes with one Canon BP-A60 Battery Pack in addition to the original standard BP-A 30 battery pack and charger packaged with it. This C70 camera has been updated with the latest 1.0.3.1 firmware to take it to a new level allowing it to record with Canon’s proprietary 12-bit Cinema RAW Light LT/ST/HQ codecs. I am also including two ProGrade 256GB UHS-II SDXC (V90) Memory Cards which are the proper type of cards needed for recording internally in camera. This C70 also comes with Canon’s RF 14-35mm f/4L IS USM wide angle zoom lens with Nauticam’s Cinema Gear (SKU # 16342) set for manual focus and zoom control. The Nauticam NA-C70 Underwater Housing has only been splashed in the ocean on two occasions and still looks as if it just came out the box. My selling price for everything listed is $13,750.00 USD Buyer will need to cover shipping, or has the option to personally pick it up from my location in Palm Beach, Florida. You can PM for additional photos and info.

  19. I've recently bought a 100mm canon macro lens to go with my canon 5dmkii and am looking to get some super macro shots and want to buy a diopter to achieve this, I've never used one before. I use a seacam housing and have a tapered seacam macro port. Can anyone recommend diopter options that would be compatible with my seacam kit and what I need to consider when buying a diopter? Any useful source material or sources of information? Any advice will be much appreciated! Many thanks, Matt

  23. Hey guys. I'm new on wetpixel but I've been freediving for quite a while. I've always loved having a camera in my hands underwater. My brother recently passed away and I adopted his setup. I used to shoot with my 5dmkii and an Aquatica housing. I proudly run my brother's 1DXmkii now in an Aquatica housing with his name on the back. He had such a gift of sharing the underwater world with people. He saw the world through childlike fascination and it showed in his imagery. So proud of what he accomplished and I'm happy for what I learned from him. This video was shot in a grand total of about five freedives. The hammerhead footage was taken with my 5Dmkii. The sand tigers were shot a couple years later with my brother's rig after he passed here in North Carolina. John Through_Brother's_Eyes.mp4
