  1. Hello, I am looking at adding the Olympus 8mm fisheye to my setup. Does anyone know the best dome port to use? Zen list it for use with the 100mm and also the 170mm ports. What would optically give the best results?? I have also seen that Nauticam do a 140mm port, I assume this is probably the best optical option?? Do the Nauticam ports have the coating like the Zen ones to reduce flare? I have looked at the web site but it just seems to list it. Thanks.
  2. I'm going to sell my Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm 1:4.0-5.6 including the corresponding Nauticam 4" dome port and the Nauticam zoom gear. All items are in very good conditions! The lens as well as the glass of the port are free of scratches! Price for the whole set: 800€ Price for the port with the zoom gear: 450€ If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me!
  3. Looking for a pair of Inon Z240 strobes, with or without fiber optic cables and arms. Thank you!
  4. Hi Im selling my Nauticam NA-1DX housing & Nauticam 8.5" acrylic dome. Im only asking for $2500 for both (cost over $6000) so grab yourself a bargain. The housing is in good condition and has been upgraded with the Nauticam vacuum leak system. The only minor issue is the shutter button return spring has broken, but it still works absolutely fine and should be a cheap and quick fix. Apart from that the housing has only a few minor cosmetic scratches. The housing can also be used with the new Canon 1-DXii, you only loose the ability to switch between video and live view if I remember correctly. The dome port is free from scratches on the glass, but has some scratches on the lens hood. Please see attached pics & feel free to contact for any extra info
  5. Sea and Sea nx dome port with front and rear port covers. Excellent condition. A couple of almost imperceptable smudge marks on the dome. $250 buyer pays shipping.
  6. Selling a nearly-new underwater camera housing package: Nauticam NA-GH4 Housing with dome port, vacuum pump and zoom gear ring for the Panasonic GH4 4K Camera plus extras (see below). Our production company purchased this underwater housing for a film we were making last year and used it on two shoots. The housing is in near new condition and we've discounted the sell price considerably less than the same model would cost you new. The 6" dome port has a couple small scuffs on the lens--have to disclose this--but they will not show up or affect the image in any way. We saved the original Nauticam boxes and packaging and will ship the housing and included items in an additional box for added protection. All of the photos for the listing are of the actual units. The following are included with this sell: Nauticam NA-GH4 Underwater Housing for Panasonic GH3 or GH4 Nauticam 6" Wide Angle Dome Port na-36133 Nauticam Zoom Gear Ring P714-Z zoom gear for Panasonic Vario 7-14mm (compatible w 36043) Nauticam 6" Wide Angle Dome Port Vacuum Valve Nauticam M14 Vacuum Valve with Pump 25611 Various Ultralight Ball Arm Extension Attachments for lights / accessory mounting (as pictured) Camera not included For a full description, check out the link below: nauticamusa.com/news/2014/7/9/housing-for-gh4 If you're interested, you can contact me directly via phone or email: 512-865-1998 krlipscomb@gmail.com Thanks. -Kelly
  7. I have an Olympus EM-5 with PT-EP08 housing with two UFL-2 strobes. I am looking to buy a 9-18mm lens and dome port for the housing, as well as a dual arm tray for the strobes. Thanks!
  8. Hiya, Im making my first case to try out split shots with. My question is: in practice how important is distance from lens to dome? Will I lose all underwater sharpness if my lens is 20mm too close? In your experience, how far off the theoretical dome extension length have you found still practically useful? The long story is ........ I'm attempting to bodge an Ikelite 8" dome port (which I picked up cheapish) onto my Meikon case for Sony A6000. I'm going to cut down and glue the extension port to the housing ... so I've pretty well got one chance to get the length of the extension right. I'm using a 10-18mm lens (SEL1018f4) (15-27mm full frame equivalent) which worked pretty well with the 4" dome I had glued on there before. Hopefully the 8" dome will help me to get split shots. I suppose the focal point (not necessarily the front element?) of the lens needs to be 102mm from the dome. I have marked the focal points at 10 mm and 18 mm on my lens for reference. Now I come to choose how long to make the extension I discover that I can only get the lens back from the dome about 80mm before the dome housing starts to vignette my image with the lens at 10mm. At 14mm I can move it back to 90mm and at 18mm I can get the focal point about 100mm from the dome. So my question is ... am I stuck with my lens at 18mm if I use this dome port? Or will I experience only moderate edge softness if my lens is 20mm too close at it's widest 10mm? Regards, Peter
  9. FOR SALE: Seacam 9 inch Superdome glass dome port, comes with Seacam neoprene front cover and plastic back cover. Fair condition. There are some scratches on the exterior surface of the glass. Depending on your shooting conditions (angle/depth/backlit/background color/sun, etc.), a scratch or two may sometimes appear in your photo as a small line, or dot, or flare spot. Sometimes you will notice this in the photo, sometimes you won't. A quick touch up with the clone/healing brush in Photoshop is usually all it takes to make the blemish disappear. SELLING FOR $335 USD, which includes Paypal fees and shipping in the lower 48. Will consider shipping overseas for additional cost. Super low price as a new 9" (~230mm) GLASS dome port costs close to $2000 new! This port is well used but still very functional. 15. Hi all, I'm looking for the most suitable wet wide lens for me and I'll be glad to read your opinion. It is important for me that this lens will support also over-under photography. I'm using canon s100 with Ikelite housing. My options are either the W30 – flat port wide angle lens with x0.59 mag. or the WD3 – a dome port that provides x0.75 mag. Buying both is not an option. I have to pick one. From some research I did it seems that dome port will enable better over-under pictures. In addition the W30 lens cannot be used with full zoom out of the camera due to vignetting while WD3 can and with lower edge distortion. It means that the magnification difference is actually smaller. WD3 is lighter both over and under water and cheaper, but this is less important for me. What do you think? Is what I wrote correct? Are there additional important considerations I missed?

  22. I've used this large, extremely versatile 8" dome for years with various lenses and housings for many years. I first used it with Sea & Sea housings. I then put a Nauticam bayonet ring on it, and used it with Nauticam housings. I believe that this is the Sea & Sea NX Fisheye Dome Port #56401. It seems to be the same as the Sea & Sea Fisheye Dome Port 240 but that might be a larger dome with a 10" dome. The dome on this port is 8" in diameter. I consider it a "prime" (eg versatile, not specialized) port in that many lenses work with it without an extension. I used it with the Nikon 16mm fisheye, 10.5mm fisheye, 20mm, and 18mm with a one-inch extension. I also used it with a Canon 7D in Nauticam housing with the Tokina 10-17mm fisheye zoom. I've had this port for a while, but it still looks great. The acrylic dome has almost no scratches (scratches in acrylic are relatively easy to buff off with plastic cleaner, as opposed to glass). The shade has always been built well on these domes; this shade still fits snugly and shows little wear. There's a bit of wear on the backside where the dome may have rubbed against housings. The dome will come with a bayonet ring so that this port fits Nauticam housings (Canon and Nikon). If you want it, I'll include the old bayonet mount so you can convert this back to Sea & Sea housings. The acrylic dome itself is about 8" in diameter but the entire assembly measures 9.84 x 4.09" (25 x 10.4 cm) Selling for $625 plus shipping costs. If you are interested, please contact Norb Wu at temp2_at_norbertwu.com. Please no phone calls. I can accept credit cards, Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. Money orders and personal checks will have to clear my bank before the product is shipped; which can take up to three weeks. If the above free shipping does not apply, shipping will be at buyer's expense (at actual cost) and will be UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, or USPS Priority Mail (all of which give tracking of packages). If we conclude a deal, I'll give you a quote for shipping via one of the above methods. Thanks! Norb Wu
