  4. Hi, I'm selling my complete Ikelite/Sony setup. All parts are in used but good condition and never flooded. I prefer the complete ready-to-shoot setup being sold as a whole but will also sell individual items (with those buyers preferred who buy more parts). I recommend getting one Explorer Case (3818) when buying the housing as the foam is customized for the Housing + macro port + both flash units (without batteries) and offers protection. I have a second 3818 Explorer Case in which the 8" dome, arms & clamps, and battery packs fit. So best is getting both strobes, arms, housing and 8" dome with the two cases. Shipping from Austria worldwide. Of course you can also buy the corresponding photo gear: Sony A65V: € 300 Tamron 17-50/2.8: € 100 Tamron 60/2 Makro: € 200 Sigma 10/2.8 Fisheye: € 300
  5. The 45° Viewfinder Unit extends eye-point without changing viewfinder image size (x1.0) and provides no vignetting even through a mask. The eye piece is tilted at 45° which is remarkably useful for low angled subject like a goby on sand area, and 360° rotatable to suit to low angle shooting with vertical composition. Price with IKELITE adapter = 350 EUR nihrzenjak@gmail.com
  6. Hey Guys, So i have an canon 5d mkiii in Ikelite housing with 2x inon z240's and ikelite electrical sync cable. Up until recently everything was working fine but on the last couple of outings i have assembled the equipment done a couple test shots and everything works. I get in the water and then strobes stop firing. Now it's strange but if i shake the housing up and down or turn it upside down then the strobes will work again for one or two shots or until i turn it the right way up. Back on dry land sometimes it will continue to intermittently function so while this has been happening i have tested my standard speedlight unit directly on camera and it fires everytime. I have tried firing the strobes manually using a paper clip on the ikelite hot shoe connection and again they seem to fire everytime... I have cleaned the hotshoe on camera and ikelite housing connection. Strobes were bought brand new 3 months ago and they both stop firing at the same time so i doubt it's an issue with them. I would have said the sync cable or something in the housing electronics but to me there is no completely obvious conclusion? If any of you out there could shed any light on the issue it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Grant
  7. I am selling... IKELITE Underwater TTL Housing for Canon EOS 650D Rebel T4i (Kiss X6i) and Canon EOS 700D Rebel T5i (Kiss X7i) DSLR. Housing has about 50 dives, all right 100% Price only 750 EUR. Shiping approximately 50 EUR from CROATIA.
  8. Complete Underwater Photography Package for sale This is a perfect beginners package with everything you need to start shooting with a DSLR. At this point, I will NOT sell separately so please don't ask. If I decide to do otherwise, I will update this post. I am the original owner for everything included in this package. All items have been meticulously cared for. The housing was rebuilt (O-rings, buttons, etc) two years ago. The extra rebuild kit that is included can be used to save money on the next rebuild which will be due soon. The housing has always been fresh water soaked after chlorine or salt water use and has never been flooded. The strobes have also been fresh water soaked after diving. I’ve had the housing to over 250ft of depth several times with no problem whatsoever. All items work, as they should. I have taken many awesome photos with this setup over the years. The fisheye lens produces some amazing photos when combined with the strobes. My portfolio can be found at the link below. ALL images (including land based photos) in this portfolio were taken with this camera setup. http://www.redbubble.com/people/lenharpd/portfolio When traveling, I place the camera inside of the housing without lens / port and then store the lenses in a separate carryon bag. The Pelican case is the correct size for a majority of the airline requirements for carry on size. Although the strobes are not TTL compatible, I find shooting manual lighting to fit my style better. Shipping will be actual cost of shipping once buyer has confirmed address and insurance will be required. Images of everything included can be found HERE. Price is $2500.00 for everything. 9. Does anybody know any substantial differences between the 6" and 8"? I'm deciding which to get. The lens I have - Nikon 20mm f/1.8 - fits both. I'm thinking the only differences would be half in / half out shots and buoyancy. Anybody have any experience using either or both? Thanks, Thomas

  15. I am selling a complete Ikelite underwater photography kit to suit the Nikon D90 (camera not included). The kit includes: Ikelite housing #6809.1 with duel handle tray, Ikelite #3945.01 DS161 strobe kit (DS161 strobe/video light, Ikelite #4067 Li-Ion DS161 strobe battery pack and charger, synch cord, ball arm), Ikelite #4067 Li-Ion DS161 strobe battery pack (additional spare), Ikelite Standard port body, Ikelite 8" dome port (suits large variety of lenses including fixed macro and zoom lenses), and a Pelican travel case. The regular retail price of this kit would be around $5000. It has been used <7 times and so I am seeking $3000 or near offer. Would love to sell to someone who will enjoy using it as much as I have - this is a reluctant sale!!! PS: Am more than happy to supply higher res photos if you're interested - the photo uploader and resized was being a pain so had to go with the low res ones for this post.

  19. Hi, I am finally getting around to selling UW Photo equipment, and Dive/Camera Equipment that I no longer use. Everything listed here is in good to great condition. All of the images and video from our website www.oceanshutter.com has used the still excellent Canon 5d Mark II. This camera and housing setup still produces fantastic images. And is a good setup for someone looking to get into a full frame DSLR setup for a low cost. There are lots of bargains here. However, the people that purchase the 2 housing will receive first options on any of the accessories, along with additional price considerations. There is no shipping included in the price, this will depend on where I am sending it and shipping time. I would prefer you create a shipping label for me, and I can just ship it. It will be cheaper this way. USA shipping is preferred. I have photos of everything, so let me know if you would like to see it. I can either email or post here on the thread. I will be able to respond quicker if you email questions to oceanshutter@outlook.com. But will be following the thread as well. Let me know if you have any questions. Dustin
  20. Please click on this link for 11 more pictures: https://www.gugunderwater.com/gugs-personal-d800e-camera-and-housing-package-for-sale/ $6500 firm Selling my personal Aquatica housing setup, complete with Nikon D800E body, strobes, ports, AquaView Viewfinder, and tons of accessories. It’s in great condition, and it’s just undergone an overhaul and test. Some of the accessories may not be all that useful to you, but I haven’t factored them into the price, so just consider them a bonus, and maybe you’ll find something to do with them down the line. No one has ever used it other than me – I’m the 1st and only owner. Wild guess, 400 or so dives on it. Read below and/or check out the link to my website where I’ve included more pictures and another breakdown of the parts included. Now I’m going to try to answer many of the common questions: The D800E is a killer system for underwater – for those not familiar, the “E” designation means Nikon has omitted the anti-alias filter from this model, making for slightly sharper images on the appropriate subject matter – and everything underwater is the appropriate subject matter. The camera body has lived practically its entire life inside the housing – the safest place for a camera, and the reason the camera is in such excellent condition. I’ve never flooded the housing, and it’s just undergone an overhaul, cleaning, and test. Housing has never been flooded, and has just undergone an overhaul, cleaning, and test. The 9.25” glass Megadome by Aquatica is spectacular – simply the best optics for medium and wide-angle shooting. I tend to shoot the Sigma 15mm fisheye and Nikon 14-24mm behind it (lenses not included). However, it does have a scratch on it, but it has never shown up in my photos, and hasn’t bothered me. I’ve included a close-up picture of the scratch on my website. The flat port is in great condition, and I tend to shoot the Nikon 105 VR II, and the 60mm (lenses not included). This is the MF port, and the MF gears are included, giving you the option of shooting in MF or AF, or with the AF-ON button on the back, but I like MF personally. The AquaView viewfinder is AMAZING. It’s an expensive option, but you’ll wonder how you ever shot without it, and pity anyone shooting through a regular viewfinder. I’ve chosen the Ikelite DS-161 strobes (and the DS-125 before that) for my work ever since they came on the market. They are the best – hands-down. Fastest recycle, awesome power, awesome color and spread, and ultra-reliable and nearly impossible to flood. These are the LI-Ion version, which, as of a few months ago, are not available anymore – but not because of a quality issue – its simply because Ikelite can’t source the Li-Ion parts properly for a while. But the Li-Ion’s are slightly faster, slightly lighter, and have a smaller/lighter charger, and charge faster than the NiMH versions. Shame Ikelite can’t source the Li-Ion parts for now. They’ll probably be back soon. Serial #’s and manufacture dates shown in a photo on my website (click link above) Almost every original box and instruction manual is included. Some parts even have warranty cards that were never filled in, so you can submit for warranties. You’ll notice there are several accessories included that you might not have planned – I’ve been accumulating parts for years, and am planning on just giving them to you at no charge. Some are brand new, still in bag, and some are quite well worn. Some are specifically for this housing, and some are more universal, or can be modified to fit. So suffice to say, things like the extra two neoprene covers for the flat port, and a few zoom gears that I don’t know which lens they fit, are not factored in to the price – they’re just bonuses that I’m throwing in at no charge. Also please note, as a completely separate ad, I also have for sale another AquaView Viewfinder by itself. And an Aquatica complete Wave Video system with an HD Sony DSC 520 and an Ikelite PRO2800 LED light system. Call for details. TERMS OF SALE: I’d love to have you personally inspect everything at my Fort Lauderdale galleries – set up an appointment and I’ll make sure I’m personally working that day to run you through everything. For further questions, its 1000x easier to call than it is to email. The price is firm – no need to negotiate – I’ve already priced this at its best price from the start, so please don’t do it. If you can’t make it in person, we can also do a FaceTime call so you can see it over the phone. If you need it shipped in the continental USA, I’ll ship it insured FedEx ground for no charge. If outside the continental USA, I’ll get you a shipping quote using your postal code. Cash/check preferred, but in the case of a check, it will need to clear before shipping it or you taking it in person. I can also accept a credit card, but we’ll add credit card transactional fees of 2.75% for USA cards, and 3.4% for international cards. Please note that due to the high rate of fraud in international transactions, there will need to be additional security verification that may take additional time. Call my cell at 813-368-1826 or my gallery number at 954-579-8096. What a deal!

  23. I'll be spending my winter working on the Palmyra Atoll in the South Pacific and am picking out the gear I need. I shoot with a Nikon D750. 1) Housing: I don't have an unlimited budget so I'll likely be getting the Ikelite housing for the D750. 2) Lens Port: I'll be shooting primarily with the Nikon 20mm f/1.8, maybe also with the 35-80mm. Should I get the 6" or 8" dome? Anybody have experience comparing these? 3) Strobes: I'll be snorkeling, so I'm thinking I'm not going to get strobes. I may get an Ikelite Gamma II dive light with attachment for the housing. Comments? Questions? Suggestions? Thanks for any advice you can give.
